Love me or Love me not
God’s love towards us is so lavish!
He lavishes his love and grace upon us.
Matthew 7:7- 11
Ask, and you will receive. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. Everyone who asks will receive. Everyone who searches will find. And the door will be opened for everyone who knocks. Would any of you give your hungry child a stone, if the child asked for some bread? Would you give your child a snake if the child asked for a fish? As bad as you are, you still know how to give good gifts to your children. But your heavenly Father is even more ready to give good things to people who ask.
Love in action is proof.
When we practice real love
My dear children, let's not just talk about love; let's practice real love. This is the only way we'll know we're living truly, living in God's reality. It's also the way to shut down debilitating self-criticism, even when there is something to it. For God is greater than our worried hearts & knows more about us than we do about ourselves.
And friends, once that's taken care of & we're no longer accusing or condemning ourselves, we're bold & free before God! we're able to stretch our hands out & receive what we ask for because we're doing what he said, doing what pleases him. Again, this is God's command: to believe in his personally named son, Jesus Christ. He told us to love each other, in line with the original command. As we keep his commands, we live deeply & surely in him, & he lives in us: by the spirit he gave us. 1 john 3:
God is Love
My dear beloved friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God & experiences a relationship with God. The person who refuses to love doesn't know the first thing about God, because God is love-so you can't know him if you don't love. This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only son into the world so we might live through him. This is the kind of love we are talking about- not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us & sent his son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins & the damage they've done to our relationship with God. 1John 4:
Wake up from your sleep
Watch what God does, and then do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you; Keep company with him & learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn't love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.
Don't allow love to turn into lust, setting off a downhill slide into sexual promiscuity, filthy practices, or bullying greed. Though some tongues just love the taste of gossip, christians have better uses for language than that. Don't talk dirty or silly. That kind of talk doesn't fit our style. Thanksgiving is our dialect.
You can be sure that your using people or religion or things just for what you can get out of them- the usual variations on idolatry - will get you no where, & certainly nowhere near the Kingdom of Christ, the Kingdom of God.
Don't let yourselves get taken in by religious smooth talk. God gets furious with people who are full of religious sales talk but want nothing to do with him. Don't even hang around people like that.
You groped your way through that murk once, but no longer. You're out in the open now. The bright light of Jesus Christ makes your way plain. So no more stumbling around. Get on with it! The good ,the right, the true-these actions appropriate for daylight hours. Figure out what will please Christ, & then do it.
Don't waste your time on useless work, mere busywork, the barren pursuits of darkness. Expose these things for the sham they are. It's a scandal when people waste their lives on things they must do in the darkness where no one will see. Rip the cover off those frauds & see how attractive they look in the light of Christ.
- Wake up from your sleep,
- climb out of your coffins;
- Christ will show you the light!
So watch your step. Use your head. Make the most of every chance you get. These our desperate times!
Sing praises to God instead of drinking. Drinking too much wine cheapens your life. Sing songs from your heart to Christ. Eph 5:
Love for God
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. (1 John 4:16)
We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. ( 1 John 4:19-20 )
This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. (1 John 3:10 )
No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money. ( Matthew 6:24)
Love for One Another- A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. (Proverbs 17:17) Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. . .And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. from (1 Corinthians 13:4-13)
I Proved My Love For You. Do You Really Love Me??
If You Love Me, You'll Keep My Commandments
How do we know that God and His Son loves us? It is simple and clear. Just read the Bible and you will see that it is, in many ways, a love letter to His creation -- man. We see that the Bible is filled up with indications of love from God & Jesus Christ. Have you ever had a prayer answered? I have, & many times in an awesome way. Have you ever been delivered from what seemed like serious danger. Again, I have on several occasions. These are also indications of God's love.
But how does God & Jesus know that we love Them? Jesus told us how, "If you love Me, keep My commandments." -John 14:15 with this a I would like to share with you many of the commandments of Jesus, some that I know, if we keep them, will show our love for Him. Now I don't mean this in the legalistic since, that you must do each of these or your soul is forever damned. But in the spiritual since, that by keeping these, it is an act of love for God & His Son. Nor do I mean them in the since that we must do these things in order to "guarantee" salvation. I'm not talking about salvation, I'm talking about showing our love for and to God.
We do not show God love by worrying, we show Him love by having faith and not worrying. Hebrews 11:1 Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Faith moves mountains of trouble & causes you to walk through the challenging things that remain in our lives that are.
"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves." -Matthew 7:15- If we really love God, we will do everything in our power to keep ourselves true to the doctrine as given in the Bible. The Bible is God's word. To allow false teachers to destroy its meaning, to distort its teachings, and to attribute ideas to God which are not true, Let's make every effort to "rightly divide the word of truth."
first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Matthew 6:33 If every Christian would follow this command, the troubles of the church would be over. If we would follow this command, we would honestly show our love for God. Also by seeking His righteousness is also seeking His ways & doing them.
I hope that you have never thought to yourself, "I love God but I don't know how to show Him." But if you have, then I pray that what I have said to you through this has helped show that we can truly demonstrate our love for God & Jesus each & every day. I hope that we can live each day in the fullness of God's love. At the close of each day as we reflect on the day's activity let us truly be able to say, "Today I told God that I love Him by the manner in which I have lived this day."

The Spirit of Truth

This friend is the spirit of truth [Holy Spirit]. The godless world can't take him in because it doesn't have eyes to see him, doesn't know what to look for. The Love the Father Extends to You
What a marvelous love the Father has extended to us! Just look at it--we're called children of God! That's who we really are. But that's also why the world doesn't recognize us or take us seriously, because it has no idea who he is or what he's up to.--- Here's how you can tell the difference between God's children & the devil's children: The one who won't practice righteous ways isn't from God, nor is the one who won't love brother or sister. A simple test. The way we know we've been transferred from death to life is that we love our brothers & sisters. Anyone who doesn't love is as good as dead(separated from God because of unbelief & unclean heart). Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer(to hate in your heart =murder), & you know very well that eternal life & murder don't go together.1John 3:
