Learn To Allow

Learn To Allow An Abundant Life...

The foundation has been laid and bore the fruits of your labors. Will you allow yourself to harvest what you have manifested?
The foundation has been laid and bore the fruits of your labors. Will you allow yourself to harvest what you have manifested?

Feel Worthy Of Allowing

So, you've been meditating and focusing on a prosperous Universe. Making room in your heart, mind and home for all the good that you are entitled to. You've done everything to raise your vibration from consciously socializing with people who have achieved the level of prosperity that you desire to being picky about only keeping friends around you who are not afraid to see your vibration rise. And yet the prosperity you have been trying to manifest eludes you. Nothing is happening. You feel great, but still are unable to see any progress. Where are the fruits of your labors? Every penny has been blessed and still a lack of abundance exists in your life.

Not to worry. This is part of the process. As difficult as it can be to wrap your head around the idea of universal abundance so that you can learn to vibrate with it, the follow up is the hardest part: learning to allow abundance into your life.

According to the Law of Attraction, as soon as the feelers are put out for something better, the Universe immediately answers. The challenge on our part to realize that we are worthy of what we have asked for so that the act of allowing it to reside in our lives can occur.

Allowing Is A Learned Process

The answer to the previous dilemma is simply learning to allow yourself to be a "vibrational match" to what you are trying to attract. The missing piece to the Law of Attraction puzzle is usually that we are focusing on what we do not have. This is great for clarifying what it is that we actually want, but it is important to move on once this has been established.

Once what needs to be focused on is established, it is time to think about what we wish to manifest and try not to dwell on what is not wanted. If, for instance, we would like better employment, it is a given that we are not satisfied with our current job. Though it is a challenge to manifest what is wanted when surrounded by what is not wanted, it takes diligence and persistence to create our intention. Take time daily to visualize getting up and going to work at the job that is desired. Feel the feelings you will feel while driving to the job of your dreams. Intentionally feel the emotions you will be feeling when your ideal job is manifested. This is the conduit between connecting with what you want and allowing it into your life.

Does This Stuff Really Work?

At times all of this work can seem like a lot of trouble. We live in a society that demands hard work for the things we desire. Yet this process is asking that we visualize, vibrate, connect and allow. And when this doesn't work, we are asked to participate in exercises like the one presented by Abraham in the video to the right in order to change our thinking.

Here's what I've discovered in the years that I've been applying this to my life. To the person in denial, who wants everything handed to them with little effort, this process can seem like a way out of taking personal responsibility. I have seen it happen time and again. And what ends up happening is, besides frustrating family and friends, the individual will claim they are working hard to meet their responsibilities, but all they are doing is sitting around meditating and visualizing. The brother of my ex would spend hours in his room, like a monk in a monastery, claiming to be practicing the Law of Attraction, when in actuality he was dependent on his mother for food, shelter and clothing. All along he claimed to be spiritually enlightened when part of spirituality is balance. He was highly imbalanced because he could not provide for himself.

Practicing the Law of Attraction and, consequently, the Law of Allowing is just part of the program. These processes enable you to change your thinking so that you can change the perception of your world. Opportunities you would have ignored will become more apparent. You may be moved to strike up a conversation with someone, only to find out that they are the doorway to your desire. You may choose to take a different route and see a billboard advertising exactly what you are looking for.

The bottom line is, attracting and thus allowing both require action. You can not participate in the process of allowing if you are not present to accept what you have been working so hard to manifest. Follow your normal strategies for pursuing what you desire and when you add these timeless practices, you will create a life of abundance only you can imagine.
