Philippians 1:21 (King James Version)

I have searched these scriptures out and looked at key words in them. Look at the words; overcome, victory, faith, believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, victory through Jesus. Now look at the entire verse from Philippians, is there further explanation needed? The great old song says," I heard an old old story...........Oh victory in Jesus my Saviour forever." Did you catch the last two words, Saviour FOREVER? Jesus Christ reigns now and forever, He will never leave you nor forsake you. That is a promise He has given us. Friends witness for Him claim that promise. I mean Jesus Christ died on the cross for us, He claimed victory in taking our filthy sin stained rags and cleansing them with His precious blood. But we still hesitate to follow Him. I wrote the hub Tetelestai - It Is Finished. It was a hub that I could never come close to explaining the finished work of the cross. No one can, not anyone here on this earth in mortal flesh can explain Jesus saying it is finished. Even the great Charles Spurgeon claimed he could never fathom just what and how much was finished by Christ dying on the cross. My friends we need a prayer revolution in this country here and now. We need Christians on their knees in complete surrender to God Almighty praying this country turns back to Him, God the Father, God the Creator.

Jesus spoke to Peter in the end of John's Gospel and said," Follow me." This was signifying the death Peter would have by the cross. How will you follow Jesus? Will you give your very life for Jesus? He is your King, He gave His life willingly so you may not die. Yes your flesh still prone to the sin of the world may lay down one day and die but your spirit will live with Christ forever. What will you give? What will you do to spread the Gospel of Christ?  

The scriptures written above as stated say we have overcome through Christ. God told Paul," My grace is sufficient for you."

So you are probably wondering by now," brother Michael, where are you going with this hub?" Good, I am glad you asked. I am going where people are uncomfortable, laying everything on the line for Jesus Christ. I read updates daily of Christians around the world dying for their faith. They are being jailed, beaten, tortured even to the brink of death if not killed, all because they profess the Name above all names the Name of Jesus Christ.

Many here on the hubs and many I speak to everyday say they want to see revival in America. They say it is time to turn back to God. BUT, what are they doing about it nothing, not a thing, nothing for Jesus. He bled and died for us. He was bent over a post and beaten so badly He was not even visible as a man. Yet, through this He lived. He lived to carry the cross to Golgatha, the place of the skull. There He was nailed to that cross and raised up for all to see. Yet before He ascended He looked at Peter and said,"Follow Me."

TAKE UP YOUR CROSS

My friends with reports of Christians in Japan, China, Iraq, Iran, Russia, Yemen, Indonesia, and on and on suffering daily why do we let the immoral decay of America continue? We can preach in the streets, we can witness in the streets, we can invite people to church wherever we are. What will you do? Are you willing to really study the earlier mentioned scriptures and suffer for Christ if necessary? Persecution will definitely reach American soil if we do not stand up for Jesus and do it now.

HOW ARE YOU KNOWN

Who do people see when they see you? Do they see the truck driver, the accountant, the grocery clerk, or doctor, or student? Or do they first and foremost see Jesus? If they see your occupation, or know your name before they know you are a Christian then friends it is time to pray God changes your life and you truly become a new creation in Christ ( II Cor. 5:17) See Jesus paid it all, everything, absolutely nothing left to pay. He paid the price for our sins, He conquered death and the grave. He stands before God for us. Our advocate, our lawyer if you will. He has prepared for us a place in glory that we are better off with Him than in the world. Yet, He prayed for us in John 17 that we are not of this world and for God to be with us while we are in the world. My friends the social group agendas in this country today is putrid. They are waiting and willing to shut the very mouths of Christians. They want us to be Sunday only, in building only, and never to profess Christ outside the walls of the church. Persecution can and will overtake this land if we do not make our voices heard. Again I ask, what will you do?

REVIVAL

My friends please read closely here. Unless we unleash a prayer revolution and a mighty revival in this land persecution is on our very doorstep. James was called "camel knees" because of his devotion to prayer, will you be a prayer warrior? Will you start revival in your church? Before anyone knows anything about you as stated earlier they should know you are a bought by the blood sold out to Jesus Christ warrior for the Truth. They should know no matter the earthly manly outcome, you will FOLLOW JESUS! AMEN
