Online Bible verses - Psalm 91:1 - In the shadow of the Almighty
“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”
Psalm 91:1
Scrambling to try and gain my footing on a new project at work, much to learn in a short amount of time. Imposing and complicated. As a result, no Bible verse commentary went out yesterday as I was “too busy”. Too busy to take few minutes and study my Bible. Too busy to read from what I claim to believe is the inspired word of God, who by the way, created me and provides me with every single thing that sustains me. Perhaps then, in the flesh driven way we tend to react, I got my priorities reversed. Surely I can take 10 minutes to read what is most vital and send out a verse to my friends. Also, to take a minute and ask my Maker to help and guide me in being the smartest and best I can be. Rely on He who will not fail me, as opposed to relying on self, which has often proven to be an ineffective and sometimes downright unproductive approach anyhow.
Dwell in His shelter, like He prescribes above. At the same time, use that support to get fired up and do good work. Pray that today will be a good day for all of us.
B – I – B – L – E = “Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth”. Not sure if he originated that phrase, but it comes from a guy named Genius, formerly of Wu–Tang Clan, who used it in his work. Definitely not a classic Gospel or praise music artist, but his acronym holds true. Taking time daily, even if only a little bit, to read from God’s word is something we can strive to keep up with.
OK, now we can get to work.
