The Importance of Praying for our Children
There are so many ways we seek to do something about the problems we, and the people we love face everyday. We often try to fix the problems ourselves. Usually we get overwhelmed in trying to figure out how to help someone dealing with difficult situations.
This is the greatest gift we could ever give our loved ones. The gift of love, LIFE, and protection. Provided by The One Who directs our paths, and is our Helper in every area of our lives. It is awesome to know , we can see the results of just doing our part in praying and watching the results of our heartfelt prayers. There is a spiritual battle going on every day for our children, our duty is to battle, surrendered on our knees. Remember this is not a carnal battle. this battle is against powers and principalities in high places. that is why we should fight full of prayer ,rather than carnally.
We've learned that the greatest way to help someone is to pray for them. Sometimes when we want to pray for our loved ones, we find it hard to know where to start. So, we've gathered together some helpful prayers to get started.

Prayer for Our Children and Grandchildren
We have a lot of responsibility when it comes to the relationships in our lives. Especially, when it comes to parenting. Our children are facing so many more difficult situations these days. So many things that they do not even tell anyone they are facing. We should pray for our children from the moment they are conceived. It is even a great idea to pray for our future children and grandchildren whom have not even been born yet. here is a prayer to help get started.
In the name and under the authority of Jesus Christ,my Lord, I bind all principalities, powers, and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm exerting any influence over my children. Your assignments over them are canceled by the Blood of Jesus Christ.
I bind and break the spirits of witchcraft, occult activity, satanic interests, mind control, distorted truths, lust, perversion, rebellion, suicide, anger, hatred, resentment, bitterness, unforgiveness, pride, deception, unbelief, fear, sensuality, greed, addictions, compulsive behavior, peer pressure, low self esteem, vanity ( add others as The Lord reveals).
I break their power and the power of any evil influence , and I declare them null and void in the lives of my children. The blinders the enemy has put on my children must go. In Jesus Christs' Name. My children will see the light of The Gospel Of Christ; they shall be taught of The Lord, and great will be their peace ( Isaiah 54:13).
Father God, Creator of all things, I thank You for the gift of my children. I ask you to dispatch angels to watch over them, and protect them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).
Help me discern when my children need my prayers or my help. Give me wisdom to be the parent I need to be, and help me be understanding towards them.
Father, may my children fulfill your plan and purpose for their lives. May The Spirit of The Lord be upon them- The spirit of Wisdom and Understanding The Spirit of Counsel and of Truth, (Isaiah 11:2).
I release these gifts You've given me, Lord, and place my children in Your Hands. I thank You that You love them , and that Your plans for them are plans for welfare and peace, not for evil, and that You will give them a future of hope (Jeremiah 29:11). In Jesus Christs' Name we pray, AMEN.
Standing For Our Children
Children are a priceless gift, a heritage from The Lord. what a privilege to intercede (pray) for them, that they will achieve Gods' full potential in their lives.
God has cared deeply about families since he first brought Adam and Eve together. When He destroyed the earth with a flood because of humanities wickedness, He chose to spare Noah and his family. Just as their salvation hinged upon their entering the door of the ark, so our families have one door of entrance- Jesus Christ.
As parents, we relate to and understand Joshuas' cry ... But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15).
A Declaration of Faith to the Enemy
The Word of God says you, satan, have held my children captive to do your will. In The Name of The Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth to Whom I belong, I bind your power and tell you to lose my childs will, Leaving them free to choose Jesus Christ, and His plans for my childs life.Jesus Christs' blood was shed for them. My children will come to their senses and escape from your trap. Their eyes will be open and they will turn from darkness to light, translated from satans kingdom to Gods' Kingdom. My children will receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those sanctified in The Lord Jesus Christ. I believe in Jesus Christ, and my household will be saved.
Thank You , Jesus Christ for loving family, and my children, and they will be saved. Thank You that You will bring them out of the land of the enemy who have strayed. I rejoice in your promises for them. Thank you for the gift of these precious children, In Jesus Christs' Name, AMEN.
Personalizing Scripture
One especially effective spiritual warfare tactic involves personalizing scripture verses as we pray. Such as replacing the pronouns with the names of our children or others we are praying for.
For example, Psalm 23:3 could be personalized this way: " Thank You, Lord, Jesus Christ, that You Guide our children Atlanta, Autumn, and Ronald in the Paths of Righteousness for Your Names' sake." The verse takes on added potency as both an expression of Praise to The Lord and a Declaration of Truth to the enemy.
Drawing up Battle Plans
All children need prayer, whether they be waywardly or godly. The types of prayer will differ according to specific circumstances. Biblical battles were not all fought with the same strategy. Similarly, we should seek Gods' battle plan when praying for our children, asking him to reveal appropriate Scriptures for each particular situation.
For example, consider how we would pray for a child who is being wrongly influenced by peers. God may:
1. Lead us to pray as David did when he believed his son Absalom was hearing the wrong advice. He asked The Lord to "turn the counsel into foolishness" (2 Samuel 15:31)
2. He may lead us to pray that our child be' delivered from wicked and evil men", and that Jesus Christ would strengthen and protect them from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:2-3)
3. The Holy Spirit may lead us to pray for the person, even when our natural first thought is to ask that person be removed from their lives. We can pray that God will accomplish His plan and person in that person, bringing the right people into their lives at the right time( Ephesians 1:11 Matthew 9:38) God broke Jobs' captivity when he prayed for his friends and they were not the kind of friends most would want. (Job 42;10)
