Psalm 121:1-2 - My help comes from the LORD
“I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
Psalm 121:1-2 NIV
That familiar feeling. You know something is coming your way. I actually have it today, am anticipating some hassle. Without getting into detail, suffice it to say there are many variables in play which I cannot control.
Perfect time to put today’s message into effect. Rather than attempt to engage and overcome all obstacles within my own limitation, I will appeal to God. In fact, I already have, and feel pretty confident that all will go well. Reason for that conclusion, I have a historical record to draw upon. You see, I have been tapping Him for some time now, and He always seems to deliver. Have been, lately, in the same frame of mind as the Psalmist. Worked for him and it works for me as well. Add to that the literal promises we find from the Lord in scripture.
Today’s message then: help is out there, of the entirely dependable sort.
