Restore God's Altar

Elijah restore the altar.

1 Kings 18:30: And Elijah said unto the people, “Come near unto me”. And all the People came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down.

Because of religion and a lack of knowledge, many strange altars have been built in the house of God. Not only this, but strange fire is being brought in and placed upon the altar of God.

In today’s modern churches we have brought in all kinds of strange fire and ungodly altars.

We are practising traditions and practices and we don’t even know where these practises have originated or come from. Most people don’t care, as long as it looks spiritual, has a biblical theme, feels good or attracts the masses it is acceptable. Is a lie acceptable? No, it is not. So why do we build strange altars to God, or bring strange fire to His altar?

There is but one ALTAR that God accepts, namely the ALTAR of the cross.

There is but one fire. The fire of the Holy Spirit.

If we make a study of strange fire, we cannot but to pause at the story concerning the two sons of the high priest Aaron. These two young men brought strange fire to put upon the altar of the Lord.

Leviticus Chapter 10:1-3. The heading of this scripture is: “The Death of Nadab and Abihu.”

1 Now Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it and laid incense on it and offered unauthorized fire before the Lord, which he had not commanded them.

2 And fire came out from before the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord.

3 ..... ‘Among those who are near me I will be sanctified, and before all the people I will be glorified. ’” .......

Strange Fires Elohim did not ask us to keep.

God does not tolerate strange fire!

This is a sad story when we read it but as we see in verse 3 that God will be glorified. He will not tolerate strange fire upon His altar. If we look at what the significance of the altar was, it is a type or shadow of the cross. God’s perfect Lamb (Jesus), would be offered on the perfect altar for our sin.

The Old Testament Altar was but a shadow of that to come and God showed us here that no other strange fire will be tolerated upon the altar of the cross. There is but one altar alone, namely the cross.

Joh 14:6 Jesus said unto him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.

We see that the two sons were very eager to do the work of the Lord. They were dressed in the right priestly clothes, their manners looked right; they spoke all the right words and all their actions, even their worship looked acceptable. But they acted on their own to bring incense before the Lord with fire of their own, not God's Holy Fire

There are numerous false altars that have been erected in His name.

People try to make all kind of new altars, for example;

• Celebrating the birth of Christ.

• Easter,

• Good Friday,

• Valentines Day (day to celebrate love)

• Thanksgiving

This is to name but a few altars not authorized by God. They all look so innocent and good but were they authorized by God, or was it an idea that came from a man?

The Truth About 25 Desember.

"Christmas" - the false altar God did not command!

The tree of pagans!

Are you asking yourself “How can he say that?”

Easy. The word of God is our guide.

Not only are none of these feasts mentioned in the New Testament, but in the Old Testament reference is made to the tree that the heathen worship.

Here the word of the LORD speaks to Israel and us.

Jeremiah 10:1-8

Learn not the way of the heathen for they cut a tree of the forest. They deck it with silver and with gold.

(Why do we celebrate Christmas? Can someone show me where God instructed us to worship before this strange altar in the Bible?)

Incense can be seen as a type or shadow of prayers from the saints. God will not accept our prayers if the source of our prayers come from a strange altar and not the cross, death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ.

If the heathen were worshipping something before Christ came, dress it how you will, should we be singing “Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree?” (Among many other carols that are either incorrect or not biblical). Are these songs being sung in our Churches not strange fire?

This is only touching on the false altars.

If you seriously desire the truth on this subject, I will give some references at the end of this discussion.

Leviticus Chapter 9:23-24. We read that - And Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting, and when they came out they blessed the people, and the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people. And fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering.

How many modern day churches are like the son’s of Aaron?

They speak the right stuff, do the right things and even pray the right prayer and worship with all the right actions and sounds but there is something lacking. The Holy Spirit fire is not present as we read was in the first churches in the book of Acts. (Be sure you are in a Spirit Filled church and not a programmed church that does not allow the Spirit to take control)

The Holy Spirit fire will not fall on showmanship or false altars.

Most churches today are dead but they are singing all the way.

So can we make a diagnoses of the sicknesses we are facing in our churches? Yes - we must clean House, with the Holy Spirit fire broom, breaking down false alters and restoring the only altar acceptable to God, Jesus Christ.

Break down all false altars and strange fires, and we will be restored to God and the Fire will fall, through His Grace.

1 Kings13: This could be a similar altar.

Tell My People the Truth

Let us prophesy agains these Fals Teachings.

If we go on with the study about strange altars, we must look at 1 Kings 13:1-5.

If we go back some verses we see in 1 Kings 12:32 that king Jeroboam made his own altar and he stood upon the altar to offer unto the golden calves, when the man of God came before him.

We see a man of God came from Judah to Beth-el. He cried against the altar and said, O altar, altar, thus said Jehovah: "Behold, a son shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he sacrifice the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall they burn upon thee". He also said that the false altar will be destroyed as was said by the man of God.

- Now is the time that God is going to remove all false altars. He is looking for men and woman to go prophesy over these false altars, so that He can restore the altar of the cross. The good news is that the gospel is simply the teaching of the altar of the cross. As we take out all the altars that don’t belong in God’s house, we will be restored.

1 Kings 18:17-39

Let’s look at what happened to Elijah, after he thought that he was the only man of God that was left in Israel. (1 Kings 18:17-39)

Elijah was sent by God to bring rain to Israel. He went to Ahab and when he saw Elijah he said that Elijah was a troublemaker, but Elijah answered and said, 'No king. It was you and your house that have stop serving Jehovah, and you have followed Baal'.

- Here we see that Ahab was the reason for the calamities of his nation, including no rain for three years, by bringing in false altars. But God wanted to restore the nation back to Him.

Elijah caled the people to the mountain and said, 'How long are you standing for God or for Baal! "You are limping between two sides? Jehovah to be God, follow Him; but if Baal, then follow him".

And the people answered him not a word.

Elijah called for altars to be built, one for God and one for Baal but no fire, and the God that answered with fire will be God.

- And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.

Then elijah prayed "Hear me, O Jehovah, hear me, that this people may know that thou, Jehovah, art God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again"

Then the fire of God fell, and consumed the offering, the wood, the stones, the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench

And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, Jehovah, he is God; Jehovah, he is God.

Let' s go back to the burning bush to listen to the true Fire of God.

Truth about the theory of Evolution!

Yeshua is outside the Church?

In Revelation 3 Jesus stands outside the Church and He knocks. Notice that He is not in the Church, showing that the Altar is broken down.

If the Holy Spirit fire is not falling, they have built strange altars before God.

When the Spirit of the Lord is poured out, He will consume all strange fire/altars, as happened to Nadab and Abihu.

Fire from God will be poured out with the restoration of the cross when everyone comes into agreement, one in spirit and seeking His face.

Remember, it is God that will look after His own Name and no one except He Himself, is to be glorified.

You are to have no strange altars before Him. There is only one altar - the cross.

Most Christians are to afraid to call evil - evil when they see it, we have to make a stand for Christ, then will he make a stand for us.
