Sin - the Economy and the Future

Updated on May 6, 2015

Sin

Whether you believe in biblical prophecy or not, you have to admit that corruption in our society is at an all time high (4-16-10).

If you do believe in sin as an influence over our actions then greed, as one of the 7 deadly sins, is at the forefront of these problems. If it's not the money it is then the greed for power, which ever is the case it is running rampant in corporations, governments, and countries.

For those of us who believe that sin exists much of what is happening these days, that is creating stress and anxiety, comes from the works of sin. Is it that sin is something new? Not at all, what's surprising is that these corrupt events are being flaunted in our faces and people don't even care.

Another question is, how bold has sin become? With mass media such as radio, television, the Internet, newspapers, etc., reporting daily these reckless, if not criminal actions taken by wall street, banks, corporations, car manufacture coverups and more..and really nothing changes.

This is an indication that sin has the green light to become even more aggressive, lets look at the economy.

The Economy

The news today (4-16-10) that Goldman Sachs was shorting a swap fund as their retail sales force was out selling it to consumers is no surprise.

If you know anything about the market for someone to win there is someone else who has to lose. How is it, back in 2008 that Goldman and a few other partners of theirs were so smart as to short the Real Estate market while the majority of the people were losing? As we see today it was rigged, as they say insider manipulation.

Goldman is not alone, this has been going on for decades, it's just now it's at such proportions that the system is falling apart. I'm sure there are things going on that we will never know the truth about. What we will feel is the effects it has on our quality of life.

Don't you find it kind of funny that 2/3 of the stimulus money hasn't been spent yet, there is an election coming up and all of a sudden the government is getting active against the bad guys. Lets see if that carry's over after the mid term elections, can anyone else see through the politics of this?

Optimists will always feel that this is just a deeper recessionary cycle that requires more time to heal. If you follow biblical prophecy you might have a different view. Lets take a look at the different predictions about the future.

The Future

It's never wrong to fight for what is right, but what if biblical prophecy is coming true?

You have technology in full bloom such as RFID chips. You have the possibility of cash being abolished in favor of a cashless system. You have the whispers of combining Canada, the United States and Mexico forming the North American Union. There is the U.S. Government itself wanting to control more industries, thus mass control.

So what does this mean? For prophecy to come true the U.S. has to weaken, economies all over the world have to fail and suffering has to increase to proportions never seen before. This all in preparation for the revelation. This is the blueprint that the bible lays out.

If we look at it from a purely secular view, this is an extreme economic cycle that the experts will eventually fix. The one factor we can't predict is how deep has the cancer spread? How bad is the greed and corruption in the system?

For some it's greed..power, for others it's fear, both produce actions that sin feeds off of. Then, throw in the mix the predictions the Mayan's made about the year 2012 and how time will run out, and you have some interesting things to talk about.

We might even start to think about what we would like to do in our last days.

Whatever you believe, it's good to enjoy each day as it comes, stop and smell the roses once in a while and take care of what we can control, like family and friends.
