Strange Happenings In My New Home.

So recently I and my fiancé moved into my mum’s house so we can save to buy our own, since the first day we arrived strange things keep happening. On the first night, I and my fella were in the bedroom watching film and he says to me ‘Lou did you just grab my ankle?’ so I looked as his with a puzzled look and said ‘No why?’ so he replied ‘I’ve just felt something grab my ankle’ So after an hour of freaking out we managed to calm down and continue with our film.

A week later, I and my mum were sat in the front room watching the TV when we heard the two back doors click as if someone was walking in, we sat there and waited for someone to walk through into the front room but no one did, so we got up and decided to go and have a look, both doors were shut and locked just as my mum had left them but we did notice that the little chain that attaches to the door from the frame was off, my mam had put it on before we heard the noises.

Just the other night some more strange things happened, everyone was asleep but I was wide awake unable to sleep, as I laid silently in bed I heard footsteps in the hallway outside my door, It was not my fiancé because he was asleep at the side of me and I cannot of been my mum because I could hear her snoring, I continued to listen and the footsteps exited toward the front room, then I heard some strange clunking. I decided to be brave and go and investigate, I crept into the front room and nothing had moved but when I entered the kitchen, the partitioning door was open so I shut it and locked it and went back to bed, about ten minutes after I had laid back down I heard another clunking sound so once again I crept back through the front room and to the kitchen, the same door was open. This time I decided to leave it open and once again I went back to my bedroom, I had just shut my room door and I heard the clunking again, now I was getting angry, I stormed back to the kitchen and the same door was now shut and the keys where on the floor in front of it, I picked them up and took them to the bedroom with me. The next morning I was awoken by a female voice talking to our dog, I checked my phone and the time was 10:20am so I knew I was the only one home because my mum and fiancé both leave before 7:30am, I could still hear the voice its was as clear as a conversation, now I started to freak out because no one has an extra set of keys and I was the only one home, after half an hour of hiding under my covers I finally plucked up the courage to go and have a look, I crept into the front room and I could still hear the woman’s voice on the other side of the kitchen door, after a few moments debating with myself on whether to open the door I finally whipped the door open and had a look in the kitchen, the voice stopped the moment I opened the door and the dog was sat in front of the partition door staring at nothing. I checked all the locks and hiding places but the house was empty, since I was up I decided I would crack on with the cleaning, I got out the hoover and started to hoover up, when I got into the hallway the hoover cut out, I looked at the hoover switch and it said ‘on’ so I looked at the wall socket and it had been flicked off, puzzled and aggravated I decided I must have knocked it even though I was nowhere near it, I flicked it back on and carried on hovering and the same happened again. This time because I was angry I started cursing and having ago at whatever was flicking the switch off, If anyone would have seen me they would have declared me insane.

**For all non believer's my mams house is practically air tight and there are no drafts and anyway a draft would not be able to pick up the keys and unlock the 3 locks on the door.
