The Gospel short and to the point
G.O.S.P.E.L. by a "rapper"
My prayer is for God to show me things in my daily life that will help me to bring the good news of the Gospel to others. I do not want people to perish for lack of knowledge about the Gospel of Jesus. You say why would you want to do that. Isn't everyone responsible for themselves, don't they have "free will" to choose if they want to pursue God or not. My answer is "yes" others have a free will to choose, but perhaps that good news or the "gospel" hasn't been told to them, or in a way they could understand. Or it was told to them by their grandmother or grandfather that had some "religious" traditions that were out on left field. You know what I am saying here, there are a lot of religions that taught some pretty weird stuff that was not ever true or was not any longer in effect. For instance there are still individuals who believe that the "Old Testament" teachings should be followed to the letter today. That is just not so, when Jesus came it abolished some of those traditions that were performed. In Old Testament times the religious leaders were so involved in following the "law" they didn't have "love" in their hearts. Of course the commandments are still to be followed, then Jesus graciously added two more - Matthew 22:37 "You must Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind". This is the first and the greatest commandment. The second is equally important, "Love your neighbor as yourself". Basically what he was saying was that if you kept these two you would always want to keep the remainder, which are based on these two commandments.
So having said that , today I am going to share a very cool video that I just listened to this morning from GodTube. I would have added the link in the video capsule, but unfortunately it is not a Youtube video therefore Hubpages does not recognize the link. So just click on the GodTube link to view it. This video explains the GOSPEL in a very short and to the point - by way of "rap". It's very cool, and in my opinion, it is a great way perhaps for young teenagers to relate to, besides just hearing it from mom or grandma!
Blessings to you!
Pass it on........
So, after watching the video if the Lord places it in your heart to forward the video to anyone who maybe needing to hear the gospel in a way they can understand - do it!
God uses people in so many different ways, and perhaps he is using you right now to spread the good news via this "rapper". Perhaps their eyes will be open to the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ - just think if we all did this, the amazing power of God that would be at work in peoples lives via Hubpages - just food for thought.
Be blessed by this amazing young girl singing "Amazing Grace"
