The Lord Is A Warrior!

Updated on January 6, 2010

To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne.

Revelation 3:21 NIV

We all travel a weary road at times in our lives.

The thing is to overcome this weary road that comes more than once in our lifetime. Jesus said he overcame all his storms and trials while walking on this earth and we all know he did because we read his word and pray and we see all the pain he went through for us. Now he said he now sits with his Father on his throne.

Jesus says if we to overcome we will sit with him on his throne.

This is a promise from our Lord Jesus Christ. He keeps his promises to his children.

2 Corinthians 7

1Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.

The verse above reasures us of our Lord's promises, when we stand tall and overcome all we go through one step at a time, when we purify ourselves from everything that is not of God, we can be in perfect peace and stand on his promises.

Revelation 3:20

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, He stands at the door and he knocks, he says we can overcome let's stand and open that door for our Lord, he will come in and eat with us and us with him..

Many, on the outside, feel Christians are weak and wimpy largely because many haven't come to terms with the fact that meek does not mean weak.

Those of us with a Joshua Spirit have made the decision. When one is decisive, they've made a stand. Joshua fought one way and Elijah stood strong on Mount Carmel. Many times, when all we can do is stand, that in itself is fighting for your decision and standing for Jesus.

When everything is flipped sideways financially, can we still praise Him? Will we still read His Word when the electricity is shut off?

Just who will be leading the troops in Armegeddon? Jesus.

      The quintessential warrior.

      Great hub sis,

Many people refuse to see our God as a Warrior, they see Him as some weak, and wimpy God, which is probably why there are so many weak and wimpy Christians. 2Timothy 2:12, If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he shall also deny us.

      God Bless

Amen jmj, we sit on the throne and have a white stone with a new name. All the sins of this old man/old name are gone. Peace.
