The Mirror Does Not Lie – Pt.3 The New Man: Christ In You, The Hope of Glory
The New Testament believer is faced with a quest far greater than casting out demons, healing the sick, and restoring the sight of the blind. This quest is far more superior to how many buildings of worship can be built to hold thousands. The believer is called to bear the name of the Lord, to put on Christ, to cast down the garment (the old man Adam) that is spotted with the flesh (false ID). This is the quest that each one of us, by the call of the Spirit, has embarked upon; to be as HE IS in this present world.
Through the finished work of Christ, we are God’s building, fitly framed and joined together in righteousness and true holiness. The challenge of becoming as HE is, is often met with doubt and mere disbelief that we have the ability to become as HE[The Christ] is in glory and splendor. The very reason we go through what we do, is not predicated to a dislike that God has for us, as His visible expressions in the earth; but rather, a love, a genuine purposed driven love to UNCOVER US and expose us for who we really are unto the world. The word exhorts us to be holy, even as HE IS HOLY. How can we amass such, when we are flesh and blood, driven by passions and cravings that often times go against where God wants to take us? How can I become what God is in love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control? The answer to this question is to be satisfied in the grace [UNMERITED FAVOR] that is shown to all who will believe on Him (Romans 10:9-10).
Great is the mystery of godliness: CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY! What is God saying: GODLINESS IS A MYSTERY, a silent message that can only be disclosed by the Holy Spirit? While many have committed themselves to put on the image of their denomination, God is calling for something higher. God is searching for a people that are created after RIGHTEOUSNESS and TRUE HOLINESS, not something orchestrated by men. No wonder Christ said, EXCEPT YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS EXCEEDS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE PHARISEES AND THE SCRIBES there can be no entrance into the Kingdom of God. The Pharisees were given to looking righteous, yet did not possess a righteous nature, the scribes, were students of he law, well learned, and educated, but what does it gain a person to know the law, but have no power within themselves to even keep it?
The believer’s-priest is currently being developed by the secretive agent, The Holy Spirit, and we have a vivid account of the church (The Sun-Clothed Woman – Rev. 12:1-5)
1.Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun (The Christ as her HEAD), with the moon (LOWER NATURES OF INFLUENCE) under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars (DIVINE PERSONALITY / MESSAGE). 2 Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. 4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.5 She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne (Rev. 12:1-5 NKJV).
God is a progressive thinker, He always pressing ahead, moving, unfolding, advancing; it is here that many believers lose the ability to move on, because of becoming so accustom to what is presently working or evident in their life. We not only LIVE IN HIM, we MOVE HIM.
The sun-clothed woman, is the church, overshadowed with the Holy Spirit of understanding, having Christ as her HEAD (Ephesians 5:23-24); a church that is illuminated (Matthews 5:13-16) by the thoughts of a holy God. The church is betrothed to her husband, but it is through the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit that she is to give birth to another level of glory (Matthew 1:18-20). Just as there was no intervention of man in the birth of Christ, there is to be no intervention of man in the birth of the new man (THE CORPORATE SONS OF GOD), who RULE ALL NATIONS WITH A ROD OF IRON. The Apostle Paul stated in his writing, Galatians 1:16, upon receiving the revelation of THE SON, clearly proclaim…I did not immediately confer with FLESH AND BLOOD.
The MAN-CHILD is the warrior the very one that will bring correction to the natures of fallen men that have settled for Satan’s lies. Whomever believed the gospel to be a message of “pie in the sky” have gotten it totally wrong. God is in the business of changing our nature, so out our mouth can come forth with a word that changes the order of things. We are not called to be politically correct Christians, getting along for the sake of getting along, be we are to be TRANSFORMED in our thinking, in our doings, and in demonstration of right-ness!
The church, is suppose to be give birth to SONS (mature offspring) that have a corrective order associated with what they are birthed out of. The church or the SUN-CLOTHED woman, is not the imagery of a broken down woman, a church trying to make, but she is the image of victory, prepped for birthing. She is seen with her head arrayed with the sun (The ruling sign of the Day [the Greater Light], which is Christ), she has the moon (the ruling sign of the night [the lesser light] under her feet, and upon her head are a garland of twelve stars (God’s divine personality and message and she is with child…the kingdom age resides within her loins as she is set in heaven as a great sign CRYING OUT IN LABOR AND IN PAIN TO GIVE BIRTH.
All of us have been apart of the experience of natural birth, being released from the womb of our natural mother, and when we give heed to the voice of the Holy Spirit to accept the salvation offered of Christ, we became born again of the water, however there is a much greater birthing whereby we are to be born of the Spirit. Water born believers settle primarily for church experience (this can be more clearly understood by studying the seven churches in Revelation chapters 2 and 3), Spirit born believers understand the need to be warriors, having the assignment to put down the hell, as they are matured or birthed out the church order and released unto kingdom order. The church or CANDLESTICK REALM has opted to give birth to programs that do not promote TRANSFORMATION, the church has settled for become a GET ALONG institution keeping there message primarily in-house.
There is a fight ahead for the sons of God, a fight that they will win, but in order to be warriors of righteousness, and true holiness, there has to be a commitment to truth. Not truth according to Bhudist, or Muslims, Jehovah’s Witness, or the many facets of Christianity, but truth that proceeds out of the mouth of God. The new man or the corporate son has the assignment to war, however, before he can war, he must be CAUGHT UP TO GOD and TO HIS THRONE…
While many seek after houses, land and cars, God is looking for the corporate son, that is ready to reign with HIM in power. The ruling shepherds that will bring order to an out of order world, with the word of truth, spoken in love. If we in our church attire, only settle to be Baptist, Methodist, Catholics, Episcopal, Lutheran, Church of Christ, Assembly of God; Holiness, Pentecostal, etc, we will rob ourselves of the opportunity to bear the image of the Son (The Heavenly)!
The world is on the verge of committing spiritual suicide with its push for same sex marriage and the do whatever feels good agenda; however unfortunate, so are many so called church institutions that identify themselves with Christianity. It may not matter to any reading my writings of what I believe, yet, this alright with me. It is time for all to abide in the light of God’s glory, to free ourselves up from the gray areas. We must get back to when the Word of God meant something and we as a believing society stood for something.
Oh how distorted the image is become in the mirror as to what a true Christian is. Everyone has become drunk with WINE OF HER FORNICATION, which is clearly another picture of the religious system filled with beastly ideas and ways. Looking the part of the church, but truly a misrepresentation the church. Though there will be some that would argue with me on this point as to who THE HARLOT of Revelation 17 truly is, I submit to you that MYSTERY BABYLON is the ORDERS OF MEN GONE WILD. Oh may the TRUE CHURCH display itself and may you be found in her…NOT HAVING YOUR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS!
