The Healer, a model perfect in every way.

Jesus came to this world to show His way and model for us how to live. the things that Jesus did while here in the flesh we to as believers can do also by the power of His spirit. He even told you and me to do so in Matthew 10:8. Here is an example of the model Jesus gave us.

Jesus Heals Great Multitudes
^"29 Jesus departed from there, skirted the Sea of Galilee, and went up on the mountain and sat down there. ³⁰ Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them. ³¹ So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel." Matt 15:29-31

Here is another example of what Jesus had said of believers and the abilities that they would have In Jesus. I believe the important part is to be willing to step out in faith. Not to be all super spiritual and religious, but to simply step out with child like faith, and reaching out to those that are hurting or in pain, and desire that God move in their favor and supernaturally touch them and make them well again. Lets look at another part of scripture out of Mark.

"¹⁷ And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; ¹⁸ they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18

Notice the part about laying hands on the sick. Who is the "they" that the scripture is referring to? Answer, those who do believe such as you and me. Also notice that in doing so the scripture also says "and they will recover.". It’s not a reference to maybe, or could possibly be, It is a hope statement. By HOPE i mean what hope means, " a confident expectation of good".

^"4 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, ⁵ you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. ⁶ Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture,

“ Behold, I lay in Zion
A chief cornerstone, elect, precious,
And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.”

⁷ Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient,

“ The stone which the builders rejected

Has become the chief cornerstone,”

⁸ and

“ A stone of stumbling
And a rock of offense.”

They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.
⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; ¹⁰ who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." 1 Peter 2:4-10

We are God's chosen people in whom He has called forth out of darkness, and out of sin. As His people there are many things that we must learn and come to understand about being a child of God. As a Believer we have certain privileges in the here and now that we do not need to wait to be in Heaven to receive. At the same time we are here on Earth we to after receiving Christ are seated in the Heavens with Christ. There is a great need to press into God and discover in greater depth of who He is, and in doing so we to will know who we are In Christ, and the identity and destiny that He has for each one of His beloved children.

Just a Though, Since your Father is The King, being a prince or princess, wouldn't you want to experience the life of being a part of His Kingdom and all that the King has for you?

"²⁵ As He says also in Hosea:

“ I will call them My people, who were not My people,
And her beloved, who was not beloved.”
²⁶“ And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them,

‘ You are not My people,’
There they shall be called sons of the living God.” Romans 9:25-26

Grow in understanding.

"¹¹ And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, ¹² for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, ¹³ till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; ¹⁴ that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, ¹⁵ but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— ¹⁶ from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love." Ephesians 4:11-16
