Knowing who You are as a Child of God.

"In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen." Matthew 6:9-13

So this is what many refer to as the Lord's Prayer. I would like to call it the disciples prayer because Jesus shared with them how to pray. Okay so it is still the Lord's prayer. May I draw to your attention; the first line of the prayer "Our Father in Heaven" okay. God being our Heavenly Father, and Him being King of the Universe makes Us Royalty! Yes, You and I, are Royalty. Meaning prince's and princesses.

There is so much to our Identities as Children of God, that a lot of Us such as even myself, have yet to discover. The fact that God wants Us as His own, is privilege enough don't you think? As we come to know the Lord Jesus Christ, we do begin to discover who our Father in Heaven is, as He reveals Himself to us. In this discovery we in return also discover who and why we were created. I believe for this reason alone i was created "Son-ship!". To be in relationship with the Creator of the Universe. The very One who created all things desires a relationship with Each one of His Children. A personal and intimate relationship. To know God is to Love Him, and in knowing Him is to be Loved by Him.

Come to understand this,that we have an Identity in Christ as Children of God, we can pursue a relationship ,that will cause Us to enter into a newness of purpose and life as well. As you begin this journey of discovery, along the way you will find truths of your new nature as a Child of God, and come to find that through faith so much more is available to you.

Please be encouraged to know who you are as God sees you. There is so much more to this life than what humanity is truly experiencing. Know your rights as Children of God. "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:"John 1:12

Its time for Us to make the change, our culture/society needs to turn back toward God and not go any further away from Him as they have done already. There is so much more to life than the everyday distractions that are keeping people from Experience God as well as them knowing their purpose in this world....

Lets say that you inherited, lets say a hundred thousand dollars from a uncle who passes away. The money is yours, the will has been read, everyone that witnessed the reading know, but there are all these other people or things that are getting in your way to keep you from receiving what is truly meant to be your. Wouldn't you want all that you are entitled too? Or would you settle for may be a five or ten dollar bill. No way, I would want all that my uncle wanted me to have! Wouldn't you?

The point I am trying to make is that God has so much more for Us than what many people are experiencing being a Christian. Going to church on maybe, a Wednesday or Sunday here and there. Is like the five or ten dollars being handed down. It is something, so don't get me wrong, but its not even close to what God truly has in store for those who come to Him through Jesus Christ. Things that we can have in the Here and Now, and not have to wait for Heaven, though that's going to be amazing too...Check out Matt 6:33
