The Pope’s Seemingly Tacit Support For Less Focus On Gay Marriage And Abortion…

It has been a few days, and the Secularists and most of the world are still ‘gaga’ over the Pope’s seemingly tacit support for Abortion, and, moreover, same sex marriage. Today, like most mega churches, the Papacy, apparently, is catering to the tidings of popular culture and disregarding the settled tenets of the Bible. Now, to many of us who are ‘Traditional Christians’ - once again, ‘Traditional’ meaning that behaviors that were deemed Sinful when the Christ walked the earth in the flesh are still so - the teachings of the God/Christ do not change because the world says that they have. It is why we as Christians must read and know our Bible… so that no one, Pope or Joel Osteen who shepherds a mega church can tacitly or expressly support satanic interpretation of the Word of God. We read in 1st Timothy 4:1: Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.

In one of Jesus’ prophecies concerning the end times, He said that his followers will be hated for adhering to his teachings… no one today is more hated than those of us who believe that no matter how popular same sex unions are, it will always be a grave Sin not sanctioned by the Traditional teachings of the Word of the Lord - it is those of us who believe that the Word of God changes not who are hated by the world. Many of the churches, now apparently, the Catholic church, are taking clues from what is popular in our culture and walking lockstep, even if doing so is a perversion of the Word of the Christ, because if they do not, it will decrease the monies that are taken in.

In the same vein, does anyone reading this blog actually thinks that many of these hard, street rappers, who on their previous albums ‘dissed’ the homosexual life style and who now are supporting it wholeheartedly, actually had enlightening secular, epiphanies - their change is due to the fact that it is now part and parcel of doing lucrative business in the world of entertainment and beyond to support same sex unions.

The Pope in his interview, which had the secular world in a tizzy, basically said that the church is spending too much time on the same sex issue discussed above and Abortion; this take on the latter topic is strange because Abortion support is steadily eroding in America. I believe this is so because technology like the modern Ultra Sound devices are showing the world how heinous and wicked the act of Abortion is and how hypocritical we are when we single out the Syrian regime for murdering children by way of Chemical weapons when we have enacted a law that have killed literally millions since 1973. Surely, I say to the Pope that we do not concentrate on Abortion enough… what did the Lord say to the weeping Prophet, Jeremiah: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you… (Jeremiah 1:5).

What the Pope said concerning the focus on gay marriage and Abortion did not surprise me and there are those who are going to say that Jesus spoke about love – now tell me why did Jesus tell the woman at the Jacob’s well to go and sin no more… and mind you, she was only having sexual relationships with married men… so are you honestly telling me that Jesus condoned homosexuality. Lest we forget that it was this same Christ Jesus who said that in the beginning: He made them male and female (Matthew 19:4).

To my Christian brothers and sisters, if you read your Bible, you must know that this perversion of the Word of God is going to get worse, whereby, many of the so called modern pillars of the Christian Faith will give ear and preach doctrines of demons. And incidentally, those of us who are Traditional Christians are not saying that we have not engaged in behavior considered sinful… but Jesus forbids, if and when we do, we are saying that if the Word of God plainly says that said behaviors are sinful, then they are so….

We Christians who still believe that the traditional meaning of the Word of God is sacrosanct are going to be hated... and moreover, many of us are even going to be put to death for going against popular culture, as we were warned and told by the Christ in the Bible… but we must also remember what the Word of God said: “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Matthew 7:13-14).

Yes it is serious because of the sway he holds - but notice the subtlety in that to me it is tacit support or de-emphasis on the those two important moral issues.

This is serious, especially since the Pope has as much authority as God, where some of his parishioners are concerned. A admire your brave approach to the issue.
