Hi I want to say that my sons life has served Gods purpose. This is my son Ryan Izaic Arellano's heart recipient Devin and family. It's been over 5 years since our loss of our 3 year old son. Just telling the world that my son has done God's work. I'm proud to say that he still lives on. He lives on through the gift of life. Special people like Devin have helped my family in our time of sadness.. This child would have died. He was born with heart problems. His family and community did everything they could to raise the transplant expenses . Now this is sad to not know if your child will die during surgery. Many attempts to correct his heart issue with no success it was a new heart he needed as soon as possible. What are the chances that someone stays alive from a tragic accident the chances are slim. I always thought that if I died they can take my dead body parts to help someone who is in the need. Well I come to learn that the body must still be alive for organ recovery to be successful. My son was pronounced brain dead from a BB. gun cross man pump gun wound to his upper right forehead. We as parent are here to protect our babies! So we considered all options. I asked for information about the organ transplant programs. I didn't want my son to just die like this. What could we do let his remains perish or maybe save another's life with his. Well here you see this beautiful cheerful child. A living miracle 2 weeks after transplant this boy was up walking running around. He was fed through tubes always bed ridden. His little baby chest cut open several times. I just feel the pain and the the hard work they endured as a family. Now this is true family love bonding together forever. They have many things in common with ours that is true love united as one. Become a organ donor to "give the gift of life" is so beautiful . I'm a mother that was serving God's mission in making the right choice. You also can too! May you be in peace son...
