Happy Mother's Day

Updated on May 10, 2009

For the Good Mother

As the sun shines and brighten this world that we live in so does the mother shine an brighten the lives of her children. She provides care, guidance, comfort, knowledge, strength, and the pure love that is blind to the flaws of her child. A good mothers devotion and willingness to sacrifice for her beloved offspring is the closest thing to true selflessness. Though it may not always be apparent, when we are young, at some point it is good to reflect and give thanks to the one, who will never give us up.

This is a shor hub just to say thank ou to the Great Mother Goddes, for without you, we would not be here.

Just want to share this poem and hope it encourages all of you wonderful moms to keep being wonderful. I hope you all enjoy this poem.

Many women will play the mother role,

Only Mother gave body mind and soul,

The woman who keeps her family whole,

Having the courage to exert control,

Endowing her children is her great goal,

Readily for Child she cares to console.

Magnificent mother ever so kind,

Only good in her offspring does she find,

The perfect person, whose pure love can bind,

Her beautiful ones she will not leave behind,

Each child so special in a mother’s mind,

Ready to ensure the child is refined.

Mother’s a great being for us to befriend,

On this planet, love she does not pretend,

The good mother’s duty is to defend,

Her caring and compassion does not bend,

Ever seeking time with the Child to spend,

Ready for a loving life ‘till the end.
