Today's Meditation/5-9-13

Updated on January 5, 2014

1 Corinthians 2:9(NIV)

9 However, as it is written:

“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”[a]
the things God has prepared for those who love him—

As we go on through our days, we sometimes don't realize how much God loves us. We tend to focus on what's going on around us. Our focus is on the world and our storms and trials.

Someday I look forward to going home to heaven, or I am amazed that one day if I'm not in heaven yet, Jesus will come one day and take me home on the clouds with so many of my brothers and sisters in Him. He has prepared a place for us already, and I'm excited about that place.

When we surround ourselves with pain, or suffering, if we doubt we won't have that joy, but we can look into the future and see that Jesus wants us to be with him, He said in His word I will never leave you nor forsake you, not even to the end of the world.

That means something to me, does it you? It's amazing how He loves us, and how much. Nobody can fathom this. His love was and is so deep that He died for us, that is love.

So keep your eyes on Jesus , not the world, for His love is truth and He is faithful.
