30 Years of UFO Sightings in Canada

Updated on April 28, 2009

Look Up Canadians - You Might See a UFO

There have been plenty of unusual UFO sightings in Canada but most of these Canadian sightings pale in comparison to Dorothy Izatt's UFO reports.

Dorothy Izatt, an 85-year-old woman from Vancouver, British Columbia has been 'visited' by UFOs for 30 years. This may sound like an absurd story, but Mrs. Izatt has 30,000 feet of 8mm film to prove that there's some out there in the Canadian, night skies. What are the round objects and magnificent lights? Are they UFOs in Canada? No one seems to be able to explain them. A wacky camera or a truly unique experience? It sure seems like the latter. .

Another Dimension Caught on Film?

UFO Sightings in Canada are quite common but Dorothy Izatt has had some very unusual encounters. The UFOs seem to communicate with Mrs. Izatt. Additionally, the unusual 'light show' that appears on film - not to the naked eye - has left some folks wondering what Dorothy Izatt is actually recording on 8mm film. Are these 'beings of light', UFOs, flying serpents and rods? Or do these pictures represent something that's truly unique - another dimension caught on film. According to Dorothy Izatt, 'they' are us in 'another form' and 'dimension.'

Perhaps these photos, in addition to Dorothy Izatt's explanation of the Vancouver lights, is what makes this one of the most unusual cases in Ufology.

Strangest UFO Sighting in Canada?

Not only do these UFOs hover in the Vancouver skies, around Dorothy Izatt's home, but they respond to light. On several occasions, Mrs. Izatt used a flashlight to 'communicate' with the UFOs.

After flashing the light to the left, the UFO moved to the left. When she moved the flashlight to the right, the UFO followed the direction of the flashlight. Up, down, the UFO followed the flashlight in the dark, Canadian sky. It was quite clear to Mrs. Izatt that the UFO or 'beings of light' (as she refers to them) were intelligent. "And when they wanted to see me, they beamed a light at me," Izatt said.

UFO Pictures in Canada

Perhaps the most amazing experience Dorothy Izatt has shared with the world is her photographs. The UFO photos depict a complex series of lights, dotted lines, and amazing colors. All of the UFO photos were taken in British Columbia, Canada/

Mrs. Izatt's unusual UFO photos have attracted the attention of Canadian UFO believers and skeptics, as well as people all over the world. In fact, the UFO pictures are so unique that a documentary has been made, highlighting Izatt's unusual UFO pictures in Canada.

If you want to watch one of the most compelling documentaries on UFO Sightings in Canada, then you must watch "Capturing the Light: 30,000 Feet of Proof", directed by Frank Longo.

When I click on your video, it tells me that the video no longer exists. I would have like to watch it. I am always intrigued by UFOs.

Very interesting. I hadn't heard about any of this before. I've placed links to this hub in 3 of my hubs on this subject matter. Voted up and interesting.

I apologize for the previous outburst. Dorothy has footage that I firmly believe in, I think I was just so excited to see that someone else has documented what I've seen that I get irritated at the doubters. I also understand the multiple dimension factor as I have experienced/concluded similar concepts. Thank you Dorothy for the valildation.

Doubters say all you want, anyone who knows the truth doesn't really give a f what you think cause you will still be here on earth in a burnihg chaoticradiated mess / I am so yahood thatee Dorothy was just brought to my attention today and that she has no fear. I have the same photos in a completely different quadrunt Multiple shot,shot,shot,shot......get it.No wiggle. no camera artistry. I have kept the beauty to myself out of pure respect for the mother.

look at how uniform all the lights are. she has held the film still with the shutter open and is wiggling the camera around. this is 'the more credible' ufo footage? i think you guys have been douped. tell me, have you guys never seen a photo of street lights of cars moving around looking like solid lines of light before?

Thanks for the kind words, Earnest. I recently learned of Dorothy Izatt. She's a pretty fascinating woman.

Very interesting hub. I thought it was one of the more credible of the UFO reports I have seen.
