Divination or Oracle Cards Help Access Information Not Known Consciously
The rest of you, operating through the subconscious and the unconscious, holds tremendous amounts of wisdom. Accessing that wisdom through divination tools, when you are making a decision, can give you a better picture of what you need to do or new insight on a situation.
Divination tools also lets you access your multidimensional self and talk with guides, angels, nature spirits and more. Having a tool that they can communicate through facilitates awareness and opens up your intuition.
Besides these serious reasons...using divination tools is just fun! In this lens, we'll explore my picks for the best divination cards. If I've left out your favorite, be sure to add it to the "Vote For Your Favorite" list.
What Are Divination Tools?
And how would I use them?
Divination tools come in a variety of forms. The most popular are cards, usually beautifully decorated. But there are also "stones" such as Runes and coins such as the I Ching.
Certain tools such as the Runes, I Ching and Tarot cards date back 5,000 years or more. They tap into our archetypal realms giving us insight into ourselves, provide answers when we need guidance, and help us access our intuition.
I personally have about 15 different types of divination tools. I use about 4-5 of them regularly. Each of the suggested divination tools in this lens, offers a book and some guidance of how to do different readings. One of the simplest is pulling 3 cards or stones. The first stone/card represents the past or where you were; the next the present, where you are; and the final the future...where you are headed.
As you work with the divination tools, they also begin to work with you as the consciousness that they represent (angels, animals, fairies, etc) begins to speak to you through the cards.
Divination tools aren't meant to become naggy mothers or dictators in your life. You still need to use discernment about how to apply the information that they offer you. A balanced head and heart approach is the best.

Toss a Coin
Simple, Easy, and almost Free!
That's right. A quarter can be a great divination tool when you are making a choice between two different elements. You know the pros and cons of each and you just can't make up your mind. So you pick up a quarter and make it heads for one choice and tails for the other.
As you toss the coin in the air, notice which one you're hoping it will be...heads or tails.
Or just after it's caught and you see what it is, notice your immediate response. Was it "Yay!, That's what I wanted" or "Darn I wish it had been the other one."
That's the answer to pay attention to (versus the coin answer).
