All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes,
but his motive shall be revealed.

Better is a little with righteousness, Than great revenues with injustice.

How much better it is to get wisdom than gold!
Yes, to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.

Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.

There is a way which seems right to a man, But in the end it leads to death.

The wise are known for their understanding,
and instruction is appreciated if it's well presented.

    It is better to be patient than powerful;
it is better to have self-control than to conquer a city.

A troublemaker plants seeds of strife; gossip separates the best of friends.

Kind words are like honey-sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.

Discretion is a life-giving fountain to those who possess it,
but discipline is wasted on fools.

    Agree / Disagree ? smile

I agree because these are verses of the Bible I'm familiar with but I don't know why you are posting them as you also obviously agree too. (Your profile indicates your a xtian)

Are you trying to provoke people? You have to bear in mind that people who are not familiar with the Bible might read it in a different way and see a different meaning.

Anyway, hope you get good responses. smile

        Provoke people? NO

Just asking what people think about these simple statements.
These seem to be pretty clear no matter where they came from so I am not concerned if people are familiar with where I got them.

And no, I am NOT a xtian.

          This is your Profile:

This is where I live, come what may.

                                                              Psalm 91

Psa 91:1   Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psa 91:2   This I declare of the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I am trusting him. Psa 91:3   For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from the fatal plague. Psa 91:4   He will shield you with his wings. He will shelter you with his feathers. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Psa 91:5   Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor fear the dangers of the day, Psa 91:6   nor dread the plague that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Psa 91:7   Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. Psa 91:8   But you will see it with your eyes; you will see how the wicked are punished. Psa 91:9   If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, Psa 91:10   no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your dwelling. Psa 91:11   For he orders his angels to protect you wherever you go. Psa 91:12   They will hold you with their hands to keep you from striking your foot on a stone. Psa 91:13   You will trample down lions and poisonous snakes; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! Psa 91:14   The Lord says, "I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. Psa 91:15   When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue them and honor them. Psa 91:16   I will satisfy them with a long life and give them my salvation."

You give the impression of being a Xtian.
          Sorry, I got it wrong.

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting, get understanding.

These words (Proverbs 4.7) were inscribed in large lettering around the assembly hall balcony of my school. Pursuit of wisdom and understanding is the aim of true education. Even when it leads to fundamental disagreement with the book the quotation comes from.
