BABA ODUDUWA TELLS HOW OSHUN BECAME THE LAST ORISHA AND HOW SHE SAVE THE WORLD:
OLOFIN ORUN had already selected all the Orishas on the Right and Left Sides, the Merciful and the Severe Orishas, 200 on one side and 200 on the other side. At that time, Olofin was very angry with humankind and the Earth, due to the many human degenerations and perversions, Olofin was ready to destroy humanity. People at that time, was very disrespectful of the things that were said about God�s Wrathful action�s against humanity. They were told that the Orishas were very Angry also, that the Orishas were ready to Cut the heads of most of humanity, due to human�s deep perversions and degenerations, and that a Great Punishment was due, a Great Catastrophe was coming to all mankind. A woman of Great Power an knowledge, called Oshun, knew the Secret to Transform herself in a Magical way into a Vulture, (KOLE). Oshun was a Witch, an IYAMI (Mother Witch). She transform herself into a Vulture, and she flew for 40 days and nights, she was searching for OLOFIN ORUN house, she finally found OLOFIN�S Castle. Oshun talked to OLOFIN, she asked God to forgive humanity, and to save humanity. Olofin told her, that she was the only human who had reach his Castle, because of that, Olofin agree to Save Humanity. Olofin gave Oshun one condition, that condition was, that Oshun kept silence, that she should not say that she was the one who help to save humanity, and Oshun agree to do that. Oshun agree to Olofin request, she kept silence at her return to Earth. The other Orishas started to take advantage of the situation, and each an every one said that the world was saved because of their intervention, all of this became known to Oshun, she was tire of hearing such a lie, and she decided to talk, and Oshun scream to the 4 winds, and she said that she was the one who saved the world, at that precise moment, Olofin opened the heavens over Oshun�s head, and told her that from now on she was to become an Orisha, the last and smallest Orisha, but the Biggest Orisha, the one more close to OLOFIN ORUN. OSHUN is OLOFIN�S Divine Messenger, The KOLE (OSHUN IBU KOLE), the Oshun who is the Witch, who has the power to transform into a Vulture.
NOTE: Baba Oduduwa recited this story, and in the description of the OSHA SHRINE in the TEMPLE, where Baba Oduduwa left the instruction on how to place all the major Orisha pots, the OLOFIN pot goes on top, under Olofin put, goes Oshun pot or �IGBA AWO OSHUN� (the Pot that contains Oshun�s Mystery or Secret). Under Oshun goes OLOKUN pot (Igba Awo OLOKUN). Like in this story, that Oshun save the world, in mother times, now, Oshun will save the World, an also her children, (one specific children of Oshun), that has happened before in the secret history of humanity.
