What good does truth do when no one hears it?
Does anyone have truth?
What if having truth took away the joy of life?
I think that last question is the answer to why things are the way it is.
If truth could be had , who would want it if it took away the fun of the experience of becoming who we are suposed to become?
Are you aware of your own words ... The Good, Is,Truth ... Goodness, Is the Joy of Life ... The Fulfillment, of the Purpose, of our Being.
Truth is not words heard in the ear....but The nature of the heart itself.
All things have it foundation in Truth and because of Truth...and without which there can be no Thing.
So therefore Truth is Life and Life is the fullness of Joy.
Now you ask this question because we are in the world that is false by it very nature...And the very nature of the false will inevitably make use of Truth in such a way that it will appear as itself.....
So you ask about Truth as if it a scare commodity, but no...it is the principle portion of each and everything...
If you have to ask, then you wouldn't understand to begin with and probably couldn't accept the answer you would receive.
Which is the TRUTH, considering your replies to this thread already. Another believer, lost in their own mind. Good job.
Interesting thought.
I don't believe we can achieve our full potential without truth - no matter how uncomfortable it makes us.
The only "fun" to be had is actually knowing that your are growing, maturing and acquiring new insights into life... knowing that you did your best without harming others - of course, this is just my opinion.
That's why we only get to the truth in bits and pieces, and only when we allow it to penetrate our stubborn minds.
Joy is a choice... no matter what our truth is.
It is early in the am and still dark outside. Couldn't sleep so I am now having a cup of coffee. Jerami now I am analyzing! lolololo Be back when I am completely awake to respond. I am certainly happy to see you and all the other hubbers coming back to life.
I assume you are talking about spiritual truth. There is no negative aspect to truth, in my opinion. It can only set you free. I think when you see the tip of truth that might cause you to experience angst, but once you understand it completely you can feel the sense of it.
Truth should never be feared, and always followed; but constantly examined because, honestly, when it comes to the spiritual nobody knows for sure. You could always be wrong in your belief.
But I think, if what you follow is something that causes harm or anxiety to others, you haven't found spiritual truth.
NO I am talking about WHOLE truth. Every kind of truth.
It would fry our mind!
WE can't handle all of the truth!
If we knew the truth of what tomorrow may bring ? (Next year) how hard would it be to live tomorrow the way we would have had we not known.
Even more so if we knew the whole truth on the global scale.
If we only knew what the big plan was, we would wish that we had not!

Yes and no ; Truth "seems" to be what we preceive it to be which is our elusion.
=======================
So you ask about Truth as if it a scare commodity, but no...it is the principle portion of each and everything...
= = = =
Yes it is ; even in the air that we brath and yet we wo not see, no matter how much we preceive ourselves to see; that is our own individual truth ... but when we awake we get to see what truth was all along.
What good is it to you asking a question you do not believe that there is no answer to..?
Don't you realise it is by this you keep your own eyes blinded?
In this world Truth is divided but when t is found you would see it is singular and it cannot be nothing else but singular....
And the one who know it knows all things.
So I urge you to start beleiving.... for if you are able to find all other things it means nothing if you have not found Truth.
Know this the question and it's answer is one.
So from the place where the questions come there you will also find it answer.
I can agree with that,
But does a question and its answer necessarily have to have a connection with truth?
Notice you talk about Truth as if you know what it is...but your position is that it is unknowable beyond yourself....settle that dilemma that you may see.
When you link the question with its answer it cannot be anything else but Truth and each by itself means nothing.
But together it is all things.
Truth is hidden because it cannot be justified by the many...but only by singularity. So because of it simplicity it remains hidden.
Humility is good, but when it is use to blind the eyes it is out of place, therefore it becomes arrogance.
I do not recall saying that I knew truth.
We all know a little about what truth is,
No one here on earth knows ALL truth.
Everyone depending upon their own enviroment and circumstances believe that they know truth concerning their situation.
But this is all that any of us know. At least that is my opinion.
You here because you are seeking Truth....
cause you understand the power and benefits of Truth.
But if in your seeking you exclude the possibility of Finding... then why seek.
Once you know Truth you know it....if you o not know it then you just Don't, so why presume to know that which you don't.
You presume to know Truth when you assume a position concerning it eg, to Say it beyond yourself or another.... but you cant know this unless you know Truth.
You confess you do not yet know truth....humility.
I know you are seeking ...humility
He that seeks will find....once he truthfully seeks...thus his humility will always remain.....
For Truth is streghtened in Humility and that is the boldness only to the knower... but merely arrogance to the ignorant.
Truth is always humble.
It is truth that a tomato is a fruit.
It is also truth that a fruit is a tomato ... But ?..
Not all the time.

What is the truth? This is an age old question that I am curious on how YOU would answer this question. Do you know the truth when you see it, or does the truth change from person to person?

Without the Jewish religion Christianity would have gone the way of so many savior beliefs, relegated to a back room, sitting on a museum storage shelf, collecting dust. And if it were not for one single man, a mortal man and a Jew, Christianity would be on that shelf, molding with the ages, but...
