The most famous trail in South America, the Inca Trail, is located in the mountain range of the Andes, the Inca Trail offers breathtaking scenery of mountains, historical ruins and tunnels , beautiful jungle, alpine tundra and cloud-forest. It's one of the worlds most beautiful tracks.
It usually takes five days of tracking to complete the Inca Trail. The trail starts on the Urubamba River and leads down to Machu Picchu.
Machu Picchu is a World Heritage Site, it was built in 1450. It is situated on a mountain ridge 50 miles from Cusco. Machu Picchu or The Lost City of the Incas, built in the Inca style. Located at the Sacred District of Machu Picchu are the three Intihuatana structures, the Temple of the Sun, the Room of the three Windows, and the Hitching Post of the Sun.

The GR20 trail, established in 1972, is 180km long, and extends across the Mediterranean Island of Corsica, diagonally from the north to the south. It is considered one of the tougher trails in Europe, and is better suited for those with some tracking experience, the terrain is sometimes quite rocky and steep, all part of the challenge, and well worth the effort, if you take into account the breathtaking scenery along the way, the beautiful alpine lakes, rivers, amazing landscape, flora and fauna.
You can get food and accommodations at the mountain huts along the way, depending on the season, prices are not cheap and vary from hut to hut, or you can opt to bring your own food and tent, there are springs and fountain water along the way that are safe to drink, do not drink from the rivers, torrents or streams as they can be contaminated .
A truly amazing and satisfying experience where you can put your trekking skills to the test.
Bring as little as possible on this trail, only necessary items, as the trail is tough and you do not want to have to leave stuff along the way.

The track goes from Cradle Mountain to Lake St Clair, a 65 kilometers, six day trek.

The weather can be unpredictable, for inexperienced hikers, summer would be the best time to go, as the days are longer and the terrain easier to hike.

Built in 1907, it is part of Pacific Rim National Park. The West Coast Trail is a 75 kilometer trail, that takes 5-7 days to compete. West Coast Trail is open from the 1st of May to 30th September.
The starting points are Bamfield in the north and Port Renfrew in the south , you can walk the trail in either direction.
The track is rugged and can be quite challenging with muddy trails, rocky shorelines and boulders.
The majestic scenery more then makes up for the difficulty of the track, with sea caves, waterfalls, open oceans, beautiful flora and fauna, and the unforgettable scenery.
The wildlife includes wolves , cougars, black bears, seals, sea lions, gray whales and eagles.
