Your Favorite Sports in Olympics

Which of these are your favorite sports in Olympic Games?

See results

In a previous article, I presented the results of medals won in only four sports categories - Athletics, Gymnastics, and two others. However, in this current article, I have provided detailed information on the medals won by the top ten countries, along with the World Records and Olympic Records they established during the Summer Olympics of 2016.

Further, at the end portion, I provided information about World Records and Olympic Records set by all the participants who were not included in the Top 10 Countries.

Medal-wise details of other participating countries or sportspersons (not included in Top 10 Countries) are not provided as it will take much more space and time of the readers. You may be aware that the total medals awarded were more than 2000 in count. I enlisted a total of 517 medals in the Top 10 Countries tally.
