If you're not a basketball fan you may have never heard of Dwayne Wade. If you are, you certainly have. He's good... Really good. An NBA player must realize he's arrived when he sees his name on all those shoes walking around town. Dwayne Wade Shoes are very popular these days.

Dwayne Wade Converse Shoes

For more than five years now, Dwayne has had his own official signature shoe series at the top of the Converse sports shoe line. These are the shoes Converse produces for him for each new season, and then releases to the public sometime later, usually timed around when the NBA playoffs begin. These shoes are really nice, both in aesthetics and sporting functionality. They're certainly not the least expensive pair of 'sneakers' on the shelf but, you know, 'good things ain't cheap and cheap things ain't good'!

Of course, Converse and Nike have had a rivalry in the sports shoe industry forever. What the big boys are wearing while playing on the court is paramount to the image of these companies. And they're not the only names in the game, either. The shoe game! It's BIG business!

Now that Wade has signed on with 'Team Jordon', linking himself to one of the most popular basketball players of all time, things will be a little different. Both being from Chicago gives these guys a bond that goes farther than just being masters at their sport. Michael Jordon's shoe line is now entering its twenty-fifth year has has been unbelievably successful for Nike.

Now Dwayne will be wearing his own version of the famous 'Air Jordans'. Nike will be making his personal shoes for next season and, of course, people are going to be looking to see if the new shoes do anything to affect Wade's game play. But it's doubtful a pair of shoes is going to change his game. This guy is a basketball playing machine.

They don't know yet if these new Wade-Jordon shoes will be available for public consumption, but it's probably a good bet they'll show up in stores before too long. You know they pay these guys BIG money to lend their names to consumer products. They're going to want to take advantage of the huge name recognition of their new star at Nike.

Dwayne Tyrone Wade, Jr. (born January 17, 1982) has a good life and he deserves it. He's one of the most respected and well-liked players in the NBA and wildly popular with the fans. He plays for the Miami Heat but hails from Chicago, Illinois. He was voted 'Sportsman of the Year, 2006' by Sports Illustrated magazine, which is a huge accolade. He's also had the top-selling basketball jersey sold to fans for several years running. They love him.

And his shoes? What kid wouldn't want a pair of Dwayne Wade Shoes? They're distinctive, unique and easy to spot. You'll notice that, through the years, the colors have remained the same -- black, red and white. And the signature trademark WADE is hard to miss, and kids look at these kinds of things. The shoes are in all the stores and everywhere online too. Make your kid happy. Buy your kid some Dwyane Wade shoes.

The Amazing Life Of Dwayne Wade

Dwayne Wade is a twenty-eight year old professional basketball player for the Miami Heat. He is devout Christian who contributes ten percent of this salary to a church in Chicago where he began his life. He chose the #3 for his jersey because it represents the Holy Trinity.

Shortly after his birth his mother and father separated. His mother struggled on welfare to care for him and his three siblings. He grew up in Chicago in the low income areas. When he was five years old his sister, five years his senior took him to their father on the south side of Chicago. He realized later that she was trying to save him from a live of drugs and gangs. He has contributed his successes to her because if she had not taken him there he would not have been given the chance to play basketball.

His step brothers helped him with the game. In his senior year of high school he dominated the basketball court but his father's marriage was failing and dealing with it took a toll on him. He was also having problems with the academic requirements needed to play basketball in college. His coach and other teachers tutored him to prepare of the ACT.

He attended Marquette University in Wisconsin. During his first year at Marquette he could not play due to a violation of the NCAA's Proposition 48. He sought more tutoring and became eligible to play with the men's team in the 2001-02 academic year. That year the Marquette Golden Eagles finished with the best record since the 1993-94 season due to his 17.8 points, 2.47 steals, an average 6.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.

During the Midwest Regional Finals of the NCAA 2003 Tournament he recorded a triple-double with 29 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. This was the fourth triple-double in the history of the NCAA Tournament. In 2003 NBA draft he was selected 5th overall by the Miami Heat. He has been consecutively selected for six All-Star games since his career in 2003.

At the 2008 Olympics he helped the USA basketball team take home the gold metal. He has had an extraordinary career in professional basketball always giving it his best no matter what injuries or illnesses he is suffering from. Dwayne Wade has made a big difference in the world of basketball both on court and off court. He is generous with his time and money for organizations in need and just recently co-founded the Haitian earthquake relief fund.
