How do you put fishing line on a spinning reel?

The 2 basic choices are: stationary feedspooll and revolving feedspool. Both have been recommended by reel manufactures.

Both options do not help you avoid line curling that will occur later during use..and usually when you least need it to happen.
Before you load your reel always 'stretch' the line by unravelling the spool around ...say .. trees in a park or similar.
If you stretch the line first you will never get tangles in your line as you have removed the lines tendancy to curl.
    Tight Lines mate.

Lay the spool of line on its side and start reeling the line on to the spinning reel. After a dozen turns or so drop the rod tip towards the filler spool of line. You only need to drop it enough to put some slack in the line.  If the line twists on itself or wraps around the rod tip you are putting in on wrong. Just flip the filler spool of line over and continue filling the spinning reel.
