    The answer is simple.   Set yourself up with a nice chair and perhaps a sunshade.  Throw some maggots or tiny pieces of bread into the water and then sit and watch for a couple of hours.  On no account should you attach a hook to your rod!

    Just build a fish pund. It is like a big suckerway, well plastered and fill it with clean darm water .Then you can put your fish in it and be changing the water periodically.Note. It will not be too deep.Just a dept of 4 fit.You should know the food for fish,like earthwarm etc.

    The best way to keep them alive, is to release them immediately after catching.

    You can get little wire baskets with spring loaded lids.
