i get food stamps, do i need any license to fish from shore or a pier in florida ?
A fishing license(at least in Florida) is required regardless of your financial status. Reality however is another thing, as most game wardens will not bother about it if you are fishing from a bridge and are keeping only fish that fall within the size & weight regulations for the species. This does not apply to lobsters. Their catch is strictly regulated.
Yes you need one. No exemption for peeps on food stamps or welfare. If I remember, correctly, and it has been years so check the regs, the only exemptions I remember are the very young and the very old.
Normally, once or twice per year there are National Hunting or Fishing days. Most States will honor those days and allow hunting and fishing for free on those days only for the public.

How do you feel about Food Stamps being used for plants/seeds?I recently found out that EBT can be used to buy plants and seeds that will produce food. I think it is wonderful because it encourages people to plant and grow their own food. I was wondering what others thought of this.
