    College

Florida at LSU.  I've seen that hit on Tebow a few times and I feel like he'll be cleared to play, but I'd feel better if they rested him another week.

I also think Alabama could be upset this week by Mississippi.

    NFL

New England at Denver.  Denver is undefeated and it looks like it will be snowing.

LSU will upset Florida! But that may not be a good thing for Texas, they do better in the #2 spot
      Alabama will win!

And I don't care about Pro Ball

Think again....I wish Ol Miss would have won it, the Defense played tough, but not to be.

Tebow is starting from what the news is saying here in Nashville. should be a good one.

Not sure if Tebow will play but he's a tough player and if he's cleared or feels he's able to play, I doubt he'd sit out this game. The Gators were already upset by LSU in '07 if I remember right, and that was with Tebow in.

I'm looking forward to the Colorado/Texas game.

I'm a fan of both Colts...Colt Brennan and Colt McCoy.

    NFL game of the week:

Washington Redskins at Carolina Panthers. I'm a Redskins fan to the heart and despite our offensive woes, we could steal the next two games at least if our defense holds and Jason Campbell just 'throws the damn ball!'

I'm predicting Jake Delhomme throws 2 ints to Redskin's safety Chris Horton and cornerback DeAngelo Hall.

The Redskins could be the worst 4-3 or 5-2 team going into the bye if they can squeek by the Eagles at home...

    HAIL REDSKINS!!!

They're more likely to be a less than impressive 3-4 team.

The play calling for Florida is killing me!

I hate those stupid quarterback sneaks on consecutive 2nd and 3rd downs. How is this kid (Tebow) gonna learn about ball security?

Some of the same coaching strategies and basic fundamentals used in the NFL should be applied in College football.

He's reminding me a lot of JeMarcus Russell in his LSU days, a running, big bodies QB who doesn't transition well into the NFL....blah!

Yes, I agree with you.  Florida quarterbacks don't succeed in the NFL at all.  Hmmm...Let's see, Danny Wuerffel, Danny Kanell, Doug Johnson and Jesse Palmer...Those guys just don't transition into a Pro-caliber NFL offense very well.  I should know, I'm a die-hard Giants fan big_smile

I see Tebow in the same list as you mentioned dohn121 when his college career is over and he tries for the NFL.

not to change the topic here but I just have to rant for a second. .. cause just as the Jets get this cute hunk of a QB who seems to have talent . .how is so that they lured me in again. I swore them off years ago when I sat in the Orange Bowl .. no that day it was called the Mud Bowl .. and the Jets did what they always do .. the lost. And not only do they just lose .. they take a break a little piece of your heart. I am officially finding a new team to second cheer for. . .for my first of course is the big blue machine. .

So anyone have any thoughts on who can be my second string? Im thinking the COlts. .. I am open to suggestions .. just feeling a little down for that cute Sanchez ..

Okay, I bleed blue, so I'm not sure if I could root for another team unless (sniff) the Giants get knocked out of Super Bowl contention...

I'll root for Steve Spagnuolo (ex-Giants Defensive Coordinator), boo Bill Belicheck (ex-Giants Defensive Coordinator) and pray for John Fox (ex-Giants Defensive Coordinator) as his job as the Head Coach of the woeful Carolina Panthers is on the fringe big_smile

Do you see a pattern here?

Oh, go for Romo of the Cowboys....Jessica Simpson is history. Maybe a new girlfriend will help Romo be a better QB! We might win games again. lol

Mark Sanchez is a local boy and I love getting to see him out there...I'm sure he'll get better with time, don't give up on him yet.

You can always cheer on Brett Favre...let him win a Super Bowl so he feels he can retire. What an ego boost for all the old guys out there, besides they are 5-0, GO BRETT!

Don't bail on the Jets yet. They lost because their defense had an off day, not because of Sanchez. Sanchez and Edwards connected pretty well last night. Wait until they get more than one day of practice together and see what happens.
