    Jeff Thomson of Australia was the fastest bowler so far in international  cricket. His pace crossed 100 miles per hour in the Perth Test played in 1975-76 between Australia and West Indies. But in that test, the West Indies batsmen Roy Fredericks and Clive Lloyd were not scared  by his pace and hit him for many runs. Fredericks scored 169 runs and Lloyd a double century. West Indies scored more  than 500 runs  and declared their innings. West Indies  won that match by an innings.
