Do you think Linsanity is heading to Houston?
Jeremy Lin's hoping to catch lightning in a bottle once a again, but this time as Houston Rocket. He's going to have a tough time nearing the popularity of the much loved, and very humble, fan favorite Yao Ming
Eh, I think the fact that he'll be playing with Yao will play in his favor. His fan base as well as Houston's fan base will probably grow and attract more Asian fans. I'd personally like to see them play together. It would be a better financial decision for the Linmaster.
He won't be playing with Yao.. He retired a year ago- didn't see the court all of last year. The already present popularity of the Rockets in Asian markets will be an advantage, but there isn't any on-court advantage for Lin
You're right. I should've rephrased that. I should have said the fact that he'll be on the same team will play in his favor but it would still be cool to see them play together.
Linsanity might have been hyped up more because of the media outlets like to hype up big cities. Such as New York, Chicago, LA & Dallas. Jeremy Lin will have to play well for the Linsanity to grow. If he struggles forget about that all together. Time will tell how good of a player he will be and if that contract was worth it. Now as for Fresh2def05 comment Yao retired so he won't be playing with him. He will still be a favorite in other countries!
