When the jets started the season I tipped them to go all the way even though they had a rookie! If their running game and defence hold up, then I can see them doing!

overall, I do agree with your assessment though - the Jets probably aren't good enough yet to do it!

I thought NY would be good this year, but no where as good a defense as they have. The defense is amazing. I just think Sanchez will have to make big plays for NY to beat S.D. and I don't see that, this year.

All I care about now is for the Vikings to lose!!!!  My wife wont even watch the purple soul-less one.  It makes sense he has horns on the sides of his head now, versus the golden goodness with a G on it.  I'm thinking New Orleans wins it all this year.  But now they've been jinxed.

I take it you must be a "Packer Backer" or "Cheese Head" fan of Green Bay?

Cheese Head in a good way that is.

I am a cheesehead (although I've never once worn one) - born and raised and still living in Wisconsin.  We will respect Brent once he actually retires and we can heal.  We really wanted another shot at the Vikes.  I'd normally be cool with Arizona but still not over that heartbreaking loss.  Not sure if a blowout wouldn't have been better.  If Arizona made the Superbowl I'd go for them.  I like Warner although he seemed a bit like a whiner during the game... I take it that is just competitive intensity.  That had to be one of the hardest sports things I've gone through.  That and UNLV crushing Duke in the NCAA final back in the 80's.  I'm a die hard Duke basketball fan over all else.

Hi Cosette, but FAVRE is good and a veteran too hehe, LETS SEE What ROMO, Austin  et al will do,

I agree with that. I still think of Favre in his days with the Packers.
Hmmm, Maybe Favre could apply for "The Tonight Show" if he retires again!

Maybe some day I'll see it that way!!!  I can still see Rodgers overthrowing a wide open Jennings on that first play in OT.  I'm not even going to whine about the helmet to helmet where a hold was called on the 2nd play... nor even the face mask.  That is not whining.  Ok, maybe a bit.  Games aren't lost there though.  Neither defense did much but Arizona's did win the game at the end there.  Pretty ironic ending.

You know that at the beginning of the OT I thought, if I could bet my money now, I would out it that one of the D's will win the game. It's usually like that, call it a mean reversion or whatever.

Right as Rodgers was turning it over, I was actually saying OUT LOUD "Well, at least the first play wasn't a turnover like the last time the Packers were in overtime in the playof....oh crap"

Two "upsets" in the NFC...both road teams win
Two "safe picks" in the AFC...both home teams win

I think NEXT week will be the interesting one...(although Cards-Packers will probably end up being the best game of the playoffs)

I think the Vikings will stop the Cowboys, COLTS and SAINTS will emerge as the two who will fight in the SUPERBOWL
