Texans over Cowboys. .. Cant decide on this one as the Texans have been playing great on offense, while Dallas is struggling. However, this could go either way as both defenses have not played well.
Giants over Titans - I am hoping for a Giant win as these GMen need a win to to get back on track after that ugly loss to Eli's bro.
Chiefs over 49ers - Kansas City is looking like a possible contender to take the AFC West title as they sit as one of those surprising 2-0 teams.
Monday night should be a great game with the Jets in Miami!
i have a feeling the cowboys are going to lose again. seriously, if tony romo and all those boys have to call a damn team meeting after two freaking games, then you know something not right in that locker room.
Chiefs over 49ers isnt much of an upset anymore but I still choose Chiefs.
Tampa over Pitt.
Tennessee over Giants
Hey Wavegirl,
Believe it or not, I'm no longer interested any sports. I've reached a point where most of them are no longer worth watching.
But, good luck on your predictions.
hey Cags and yes I know about your non interest in sports. . he he but yet it never seems to stop you from a little comment in the sports forum. .
ah cmon you love football . .. I can hear that little cheer that wants to come out
btw .. WTG on the challenge. , . get ready as phase 2 is just about to start !!!
Hey Shari, this is going to be the first year I am not going to bother with Dallas. I'm just not interested anymore. I'm not sure what's changed, but working on it.
I'm going to finish out this season of baseball, considering there is very little left of the season, but I've not watch the game, just read news on it. So, really haven't been all that interested in it either.
So, I guess this will be my last post to sports forums. Enjoy.
Since the Chicago Bears are at home, I will take the Bears to Upset Green Bay Monday Night. The Bears look good right now and the defense is healthy.
I have to agree with you on the Texans. I want the Cowboys to win, but...The Texan offense is hot and Dallas is not!
Let's face it, my picks last week were dreadful so I'll dial it back a notch this time around.
For upset picks:
I agree with Michael that Chicago can take down Green Bay being that they are at home. I am not guaranteeing anything there, but I will take a risk and pick the Bears.
The other pick I will go out on a limb with is taking the Seattle Seahawks to upset the San Diego Chargers.
That Houston/Dallas game is a very intriguing match-up. Although it is not an upset, I will take Houston in that one, although I think people are giving up on the Cowboys too soon. That Andre Johnson guy is pretty good you know
That Dolphins/Jets game is 50/50 for me at the moment. That's a big divisional game here early in the season. The only take I have on that game at the moment is that it will be low-scoring.
Prediction for Player of the Week: Adrian Peterson (He'll have to be)
I think Dallas will need their Bye week which week 4 to turn things around. Maybe they will play well and Houston make mistakes and Dallas get a road win.
But, I still believe the Cowboys will win the NFC East.
LakeShow - out on a limb with is taking the Seattle Seahawks to upset the San Diego Chargers . .. ? Cmon the bolts need a good bolt this season .
<sorry Tony if u are reading this >
Im picking Seattle. . .
And you already know I am picking the Jets
Revis may be out and my money is on . .
Antonio Cromartie . .J*E*T*S*
Cromartie is a riddle. He looks great one week and awful the next. Boldin torched him in week 1.
Shari you made the right pick on the Hawks/ Chargers game. San Diegos special teams are anything but special. But how could I ever be mad at you ?
And I gotta say the Falcons over the Saints had to be a huge upset. But for the last couple of games the Saints have not exactly looked unstoppable.
bout time we heard from you ..
though I am sorry your Bolts sank today.. . what can I say I cant go against Pete . . he and I go way back. I even rooted for the Pats for a few years.
But now it is time to .. . . .
GO
J*E*T*S
Hi Shari and everyone.
It will be tough fight bet. Dallas and Houston.
Wishing Steelers will win again!
I am not a Steeler fan, but it would be a major, major upset in my opinion if Tampa found a way to beat Pittsburgh. The Steeler D is too strong.
It will probably come down to turnovers. The Bucs D is looking strong once again.
Hi Michael, but the ball is like Stewies head, unpredictable hehe,
HOORAY then 3-0 for Steelers!
Steelers are looking tough PDM. . .
so nice to see you again . .
So after your post about Dohn I was hoping to see him around????
Good day Shari, Let us see, maybe if NYG wins again, DOHN will be forced to return,
STEELERS won again!
Finally Dallas and the Vikings won! HOORAY
Kansas continue to impress.
Congrats to the early winners, TEN, CIN, NE, RAVENS,and ATL won in OT -- NO lost!
Cowboys won!!!!! Yeah. Defense showed up and Roy Williams had his best game.
Yeah and I am rooting for NY JETS tonight!
A High-Five goes out to Wavegirl since we both picked the upset of the Seahawks taking down the Chargers. Cheers.
High Fiving you right back .. !
Gotta love me some Jets now .. .
Tim. .. you watching with me???
Get on Twitter
Vikings v. Jets in 2 weeks! Hopefully Miami breaks them down and softens them up a little bit. Haha..J/K.
Jets/Dolphins will be a good game. I still don't know who will take it.
Who are these Rams that handled the Washington Redskins? That is a big surprise to me. The Rams have actually competed this year, after not even looking like an NFL caliber team last season. Perhaps Sam Bradford has changed the culture.
ummm no I believe it is the one and only greatest coach <next to Parcells and Ryan>
Steve Spagnuolo
Record: 2-17
Winning percentage: 10.5%
All-time NFL Rank: Last
Haha. All joking aside, kudos to Spags for the win today. He seems to be a decent coach; they just had no talent whatsoever on the team he inherited outside of Steven Jackson. He seems to be taking the Rams in the right direction, especially in beating Mike Shanahan today.
ummmmm last time the Giants were a contender and since he left the GMen just havent been the same

Its week 9 and The Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints are the only 2 teams that remain undefeated. Based on their match ups for this weekend it seems that they will remain that way for one more week. Any thoughts? As for the rest of the NFL . . .Can the Titans upset the 49ers? Will the...

Week 10 starts the true playoff push. A team 1-7 can still mathematically make it to the postseason and a team 8-0 can miss it. Each game from here on out is super important for this week picks and predictions are full of playoff implications, and should be a fun ride. There is no thing as a sure...

Tampa Bay at Minnesota tonight.Okay, if you can't get excited about that, you can get excited about what the Steelers will be wearing against the Redskins on Sunday. Right, 1934 throwback uniforms. Talk about making a fashion statement.

So what team(s) step up this week and what team(s) fall down?It all starts tonight with the Bengals at Eagles. Then on Sunday afternoon we have games crucial to the playoff picture where both teams are either fighting for a playoff spot or are jockeying for playoff seed. Games like:Green Bay at...

I love football and I am so excited that the season starts tonight! Do you have a team that you root for every year?
