but the HOF will have to wait for his is on his way to the Suoper Bowl with the New York *J*E*T*S*

And last night he showed us all why he is a sure shot to be inducted someday into the Hall Of Fame.
LT one of the greatest running backs the game of football has ever seen, showed the world he can still make the big plays at the most needed time.
He was all over the field on the Jets final drive last night in Miami, and he ended it with his 1-yard touchdown, with the score 31-23.
All in all LT had a great night, 70 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries . .

In all of 2009 this running back did not have 1 week that efficient and he only did it twice in the entire 2008 season.  Tomlinson has alot to prove, but lets give Rex Ryan and the whole Jets organization some credit for seeing something in LT that no one else remembered . . .

Other than LT. . gotta give some shouts to JT .. the Six-time Pro Bowler ................
    Jason Taylor . . .
I love this quote I read today, As he listened to all the jeers in his return to Miami Jason said
"Whether people like it or not, I am a New York Jet."

And man oh man did he play like one! And in NY we are glad he is here!

And with these 2 Jets, I am just getting started cool

The Jets are definitely a team for the football purists - nothing fancy on either side of the ball, just lots of smash mouth and determination.  I think LT was a great pickup.

That's a good nickname.  He was becoming an unproductive malcontent in recent years with SD.  He's certainly in a better place attitude-wise now.

I will give LaDainian Tomlinson his due and pronounce him an absolute lock for the Hall of Fame, and even a Top 5ish running back of all-time. I followed him a little bit when he was a college football player at TCU. I remember vividly watching sportscenter one night and seeing highlights of him rushing for an NCAA record of 400+ yards in one game (Im not sure if it still stands). I've never really been a Chargers fan, but I was always impressed with him as a pro during his first handful of years, although I thought his huge TD #'s made him look a little better than he actually was. Then it all changed. I don't know if it was two or three years in a row that I believe he thought he was bigger than the team and quit on them in the playoffs. That may be merely my opinion, but then it was reinforced this preseason by comments made by Antonio Gates and Phillip Rivers that were not so flattering about their old teammate.

At any rate, he has looked good this season--much better than I thought he would. Perhaps that also just reinforces the thought that he plays when he wants to because you know he feels disrespected for how Chargers did not want him anymore after all he did for them. He does want to show everyone that he still has a little something left in the tank and stick it to his detractors. We'll see what happens. So far, so good.

The Jets are now 5-1, lead the AFC East by a half game over the Patriots, and are riding a five-game winning streak. They have a bye next week, then play host to the 3-3 Green Bay Packers on Halloween.

And lets hear it for LT ! Another great day in NY smile

I am glad I drafted him in the 8th round of my fantasy draft this year! He has been a pure stud on my roster. Apart from helping me in Fantasy football, I never doubted his ability, he still has a couple of years in the gas tank before he is running on fumes. He is definitely a HOFamer before he even came to New York, now he is just making solidifying his case any doubter that may have existed.
