Brown Sugar Scrub Facial Recipe
Brown Sugar And Olive Oil Facial Scrub
Make Your Own Olive Oil And Brown Sugar Scrub
I like to make my own facial creams, soaps, and scrubs. It's less expensive that way, plus I then know exactly what the ingredients are and what I am putting on my face. This scrub recipe is super simple, it only has two ingredients and the benefits are huge. I really enjoy facials and find it very relaxing to give myself one. It's my special time, just for me.
Do you know how wonderful brown sugar is as an exfoliant? It is softer than other ingredients you might use in an exfoliating scrub, and that means it is gentler on your skin. Make sure you have lots of brown sugar around, because you are going to love this recipe.
Yes, Olive Oil
Olive oil is rich in antioxidants, those age fighters, and other vitamins too. It's wonderful to use for treating acne because it deeply cleans your skin, removing the impurities that keep your skin unhealthy. It leaves the epidermis with a lustrous sheen.
Did you know that olive oil is so abundantly rich in antioxidants it is one of the main ingredients in many over the counter, expensive anti-aging products you can find in the stores. This oil is rich in protein, minerals, vitamins, and those essential fatty acids, all of which are extremely valuable in helping dehydrated skin. Olive oil, thanks to those antioxidants, protects your skin from the damaging effects of free radicals and that means it prevents fine wrinkles and skin aging. Any mask that contains a low pore clogging oil, like olive, and brown sugar will have no problem completely removing all those dead skin cells, leaving your skin fresh and young looking.

Here's What You’ll Need To Make Your Scrub:

Step By Step Directions
That title makes it sound complicated...it's not!
Directions:
You can mix this scrub up in your hand but I like to use a bowl.
- Put the brown sugar in a bowl
- Add the oil you've chosen and pour it in slowly while mixing it with the sugar. You want to form a paste.
That's it! Told you it was simple to make.
- Now you can apply the scrub to your neck and your face. Always use gentle, circular motions when applying anything to your face.
- Massage the mix into your skin, ever so gently. The sugar is going to remove those dead skin cells that are preventing your natural, healthy glow from shining through. The oil is going to moisturize and restore your skin.
- Rinse with warm water.
- Pat your skin dry with a soft towel.

If you wish to prepare a larger quantity of this scrub, simply multiply the quantities and keep it in a dry air tight container. Use whenever you have time to. A deep face cleansing is always welcome.
You can make a scrub with fruit too. Here you will find a nice, sweet Kiwi face scrub recipe.
