Cheap Rompers for Under 25 Bucks!

Updated on October 3, 2016

1. Nautical Romper

Rompers are still going strong as one of this summer's hottest trends. Here I give you several rompers all under the budget-friendly price of 25 bucks! Just because you're on a budget doesn't mean you should ever sacrifice style.

The romper at right is one of gems I found online. Gals, Avon is not just for make-up; they've now expanded to so much more! This nautical inspired romper is so cute! And the thin stripes give it a vintage look. I also love how this romper comes with a waist tie. It makes all the difference in the world to cinch that waist in!

2. Printed Rompers

Any fashionista who is anyone knows that prints are the hottest way to celebrate summer. This summer, tribal prints are in. This romper's print is not too overwhelming because the colors are neutrals. Best of all? It's monochromatic.

I always recommend monochromatics for petite or curvy women so that they can achieve a lean, seamless look. this rule also applies for other playsuits, jumpsuits and especially, maxi dresses.

3. One Shoulder Romper

How sophisticated does this romper look? It's amazing that rompers are these things toddlers are supposed to wear! This one has an elegant feel to it that would enable you to wear for an evening out. Yes, rompers for evening are now acceptable.

Toss on a well-tailored blazer and you're good to go! For seamless rompers like this one, I'd recommend a belt. For evening, go for a classy belt with medium thickness. I'm not a huge fan of big/thick belts for rompers particularly if you have a short torso.

4. The Versatile Romper

Having a versatile romper in one's wardrobe is a must! If you're afraid to invest in multiple rompers, go for one like this. This romper can easily be worn on day trips but also transformed into night wear. Also, don't shy away from the bright color! There's nothing that saddens me more than seeing women draped in black on a sunny day!

For day: Slip on sandals, sunblock and you're ready to go!

For night: Add a belt, heels, jewelry and a cropped jacket and you're ready for 2am bar hopping.

5. Floral Rompers

The immensely popular floral rompers of last year are back again. Last year was all about large blooms and in your face daisies and daffodils. I predict this year we'll be seeing more subdued floral prints. Think dainty & vintage-inspired!

Sizing hint** Be sure to choose a high-waisted romper. This is the style that will look best on the majority of body types. For petite women, it elongates the leg; For curvy women, the high waist slims your figure and for the hour-glass figures, the high waist cinches your middle.

6. The Sporty Romper

For the gals always on the run: Or are you always at the beach? Do you indulge in daily sporting activities? No worries. After all that's why these "playsuits" and "onesies" were even invented in the first place. What you need is a sporty, easy-to-move-in romper. Choose a breathable fabric like cotton and be sure the romper gives a little stretch so that you can move around. It's the perfect look for any summer athlete.

Hope you enjoyed my journey in finding amazingly cheap rompers for under 25 bucks!

My one last romper-tastic observation: No worries about matching tops and bottoms!

      orangecountyjill: Thanks!

Niki Hampton: I'm sure anyone could pull one off. If you still need to maintain "some sophistication" try a silk one from Ann Taylor. They tailor and use stiff fabrics that'll make the look more "adult." =)
