How To Cure Acne - A Few Simple and Easy Tips on How to Help Get Rid of Acne

First of i would like to say the I know what you are going through, what has brought you to this stage where you are looking for ways to cure your acne, because - my friend - i have been there myself before. For years i had acne and i myself done some research which led me to making good progress towards having clean skin.

I am not totally clear from acne yet however, i myself am still looking for the best tips to cure acne, but it has got to the point now with myself that it is under control. Generally now if i have an outbreak i know a what i can blame it on. This has come from years of experience (hope i don't sound like i am boasting!) and constantly looking into how to cure acne and tips on keeping my skin clean.

So here i am, coming out the other end with my acne treatment with it getting less and less all the time, and finding myself better equipped to deal with it. I am now glad to say i can help others with their acne problem as others helped me.

And no this is not going to work overnight, but if you can keep an eye on some simple things in your daily life and make a easy changes, i promise you, you'll go a long way to quickly getting rid of acne.

Now, lets get started.


Hygene

This is the first and perhaps most important way to cure acne. By following these simple instructions everyday you will go a long way to reducing the signs of acne.

1. Wash your face gently in the morning and at night. Scrubbing too hard can have a negative impact and even leave scars, so be gentle when you wash as your skin is sensitive. It is also important to use warm water as this will open up your pores, allowing the soap to get into them and clear out the dirt and oils which get caught and contribute to acne. Make a good routine of this and do it religiously.

There is also ways to make this process more effective as well. For example, you can use a facial cleansing scrub on your skin which will be a lot more effective at cleaning the skin. If you are worried about your skin being too sensitive then you may use a sensitive skin variant These facial washes are cheap and highly effective. I personally notice the difference from not using a facial scrub for one day.

Additionally there are a number of sulfur based soaps on the market which are designed to battle acne. There is no harm in trying one of these out and watching the results, they wont work for everybody, but maybe they will work for you.

2. Wash your hair regularly and keep it off your face. Many people do not realize it, but there are loads of oils in your hair which can easily be transferred to you face when they come into contact, this is not to mention sweat. So in order to reduce acne get into a regular routine of washing your hair to remove the dirt, oils, and sweat that are built up.

3. Clean Pillow Cases. This is something that i never realized for a while when trying to find ways to clear my skin of acne, but a friend gave me this tip and i cant say it didn't help. The reason for doing this is basically the same as the previous two suggestions: oils, dirt and sweat will accumulate on your pillow as they do so on your hair or your skin. I suggest at least twice a week replacing your pillow cases. This is another quick and simple tip to cure acne, but no doubt one that will have positive results.


Diet

1. Eating the right food can help significantly clear acne and is one of the easiest treatment methods for acne that is possible to us. By slightly changing your diet you can go a long way to getting rid of acne.

Foods rich in sugar should definitely be avoided, as high levels of sugar lead to elevated insulin levels in the body which, in turn, increases hormones and causes an increased production of skin oils: perhaps the leading cause of acne. On the other hand, we want to incorporate as much antioxidants as we can into our diet. The best way to help cure acne through your diet is sticking to a diet which is concentrated on lean meat, fish, vegetables, and fruits. Here is some more specific pointers to help you out.

If you are going to eat wheat, then stick to whole wheat variants. High in fiber, whole grain foods contain large amounts of antioxidants which have the benefit of stabilizing sugar levels in the body and preventing insulin production. It is recommended to check a products nutritional value on the package to make sure you are buying the right product for your acne treatment.

Avoid too much dairy in your diet. Dairies contain high levels of iodine which can exacerbate acne. Soy milk is a great substitution if you can deal with the sacrifice!

Introduce more Omega 3 acids into your diet through such foods as walnuts, salmon, sardines, grass-fed beef, soybeans, shrimp, and tofu to name but a few (those listed contain the highest levels however, so concentrate on them if you can). This is one of the best ways to reduce acne inflammation. Do some of your own research into other Omega 3 rich foods which can help with your treatment for acne. Otherwise, you can simple take Omega 3 supplements which are a quick solution to incorporating it into your diet.

Green tea is full of antioxidants and is a very simple and quick way of improving your skins overall health and battling skin oils. Watch out again for green tea products that are actually high sugar and lower in antioxidants, such as iced green tea beverages.

This is a few suggestions where to start with your diet, so try these out first and see what works for you in your personal case. It is not going to be easy to change your diet rapidly but by keeping these suggestions in mind and refer to them every time you go food shopping and they will help you with your acne treatment.


You will see results

There are plenty of other useful suggestions out there on how to cure acne, generally living a healthy and hygienic lifestyle is the most simple and true advice that can be given. For example, going out for a run once or twice a week will have an impressive impact on your acne, as well as staying relaxed and not getting too stressed out day to day. So have a positive outlook.
