How many times have you looked at someone else's makeup and wish that you could take it off their face and put it on yours? Or, have you looked at any magazines lately and wished your makeup could be as flawless as the celebrity's? Well, it can.

I remember when I was a teenager and didn't have a care in the world, I would go to Hudson's (now called Marshall Fields) when I was living in Michigan, and spend hours at the makeup and perfume counters. I would get my makeup professionally done, just because it was so beautiful...and I felt like a celebrity.

Fast forward to motherhood and whatnot; I just don't have a zillion dollars to spend on looking beautiful. Thank God for YouTube. Yes, YouTube. There are some pretty awesome videos on applying makeup on there! Who would have thought 10 or 15 years ago that you would be getting makeup tips off the internet?

Colors, Colors, Oh My!

I had a color palette similar to this one when I was younger, I practiced on myself a lot and copied what I could from magazines, but it was never quite the same. Wouldn't you like to surprise your husband or boyfriend with a hot new look?

The help is out there. Every woman deserves to be as beautiful as she can be. Just check out some of these videos below!

I agree, I don't have the time/money to spend much on makeup now, but I still want to look nice. These videos are very helpful. Thank you!

Very interesting information. I learned something. I wish more young women read your hubbs. I'm not a heavy make up user, but when I wear some, I like it to be well applied

I wish I would have known what I do now about eye make-up when I was in my twenties. The ability to look natural and yet wear make-up makes one look all put together. Great topic.

Great internet finds and how true that we all want to look like models if only for one night. Thanks for the help.

      Merry Christmas!

Hiya stayingalivemoma, I enjoyed reading your hub. I'm with you in makeup. I used to spend tons of money on makeup when I was younger, and couldn't go out (or wouldn't lol) without my eye makeup. Now that I am older, I'm getting lazy and not spending more time on my face, aside from maintenance. I love the videos and will experiment tonight. Voted up!

      Have a nice day,
