St.Ives Skin Care

St. Ives has been helping people from many different countries solve their skin care dilemmas for numerous years.

They use natural ingredients, no Parabens or Phthalates and is packaged with environmentally friendly products.

St. Ives has a Skin Profiler on their website to help you find the right product for you. There is something for everyone at St.Ives.

Unhappy Skin

I was in my late teens when I first started getting the dreaded crow’s feet around my eyes.

I’m not sure if it started so early because my skin was so dry and pale or because of all the excessive sun exposure I put it through but whatever the reason, I saw lines in the mirror and the skin on my neck was adding years to my appearance.

I was also struggling with dry patches, red blotchy areas and an allover dull appearance. Something had to be done.

What I Learned

Over the last 20+ years I have tried every anti-aging skin product and massaging device that I could get my hands on.

I have scrubbed, masked, chemically peeled, steamed, massaged and greased my face to the limit!

I learned that all of the products that are designed to target certain issues such as wrinkles or discoloration can’t work like they should if you’re spreading them over dead skin cells.

It is absolutely necessary to exfoliate the skin and stimulate new cell growth or nothing else will work.

St.Ives Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub

During years of experimenting and spending a small fortune on many different products, I discovered that St.Ives still gives me the best results.

The Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub is the perfect exfoliate for the face and neck. There is just the right amount of exfoliating beads to remove dead skin cells to reveal the healthier and brighter skin underneath without being abrasive and irritating the delicate skin.

The Apricot Scrub is safe enough to use every day and is a great way to prepare your skin before you apply daily makeup. You will feel the scrub working the first time you use it and will see a noticeable difference in the first week. After 4 weeks or so, you will notice that your skin is remarkably more even in texture, softer to the touch and brighter in appearance.

St.Ives Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin Facial Moisturizer

The Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin Facial Moisturizer is a perfect paring to the Apricot Scrub because it has is thick enough to moisturize even the driest skin yet it absorbs so you aren’t left with a greasy feeling.

Some of the thicker creams on the market will settle into wrinkles and creases and exaggerate them, making them look bigger and more prominent. This is especially noticeable when make-up is applied on top of them.

How Many Stars Do You Give St.Ives?

Priced For Everyone

The price and availability of the St.Ives products is probably the most shocking part.

These wonderful products generally retail between $3.00 and $7.00 and can be found at many large retail chains and drug stores that carry skin care. There is no need to spend hundreds of dollars at the department stores or order specialty creams from infomercials to achieve beautiful skin.

Using St.Ives

Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub

To use: Moisten face and neck with warm water, apply a quarter size Apricot Scrub to your face and neck and gently massage skin in circular motions for 3 to 4 minutes. The micro beads will gently exfoliate the skin so firm pressure isn’t necessary and may cause redness or irritation.

Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin Facial Moisturizer

To use: In the evening, after removing make up and cleansing your face and neck, liberally apply Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin Facial Moisturizer. Allow time for the moisturizer to absorb before going to bed so it doesn’t rub off on your pillow.

Sunscreen Is Essential

Always apply sunscreen when using St.Ives or other skin care products. Some moisturizer creams contain a sunblock but some do not so it is important to make sure your newly exfoliated and exposed skin is protected.
