My favorite Spring Dresses

Updated on April 9, 2010

Choosing a Spring Dress

While you may think it is odd that I would write an article on dresses. When in fact I have searched out and purchased dresses for my wife and many of her friends for over 20 years. In that 20 years I bought 1 dress that did not look well on her. I grew up with a boat load of sisters and it seemed that they were always having fashion shows. As we grew up where it was cold in the winter and the climate outside was hostile! So as I was growing up I was sort of in training and I picked up a few things over the years.

One of the many things I have learned over the years is that your completion is very important in choosing the correct color and style of dress. In my humble opinion many women may not look as good as they think they do in a certain dress.Especially Easter dresses, I suppose its the colors and the sort of limited style.

I am sure this happens all over the world. Someone wearing clothes that they really should have left on the rack. Its happened to all of us. Even more to the rich and famous. Because they actually have money to waste on bad looking clothes. Truth is most of the classier dresses for I have found for homecoming or prom have been used! Ahhh! Yes used!

I have the dresses cleaned or clean them myself and once the person sees how well they look in it and hears all the complements from other people they could care less whee I got the dress. They just want me to find another one that makes them look that good. So I would have to say that my favorite spring dress is the one that you would look the best in. So take your time and be honest with yourself. It really doesn't matter if you are a big person or small so can find a dress that brings out your good points. Its easy and takes a bit of practice.

You do not have to spend loads of cash to look good. If you are embarrassed and don't want people knowing where you are getting your clothes shop out of town. We used to drive to the big cities and shop. When we wore the used clothes people just thought that we bought them new and had not worn them in a while. I bought my wife a 1200.00 dollar one of a kind dress for a song. It fit her like a glove. I didn't tell anyone where I got it ;-) This a great way to get a hold of a cheap dress. Buy it used!
