Packed with Antioxidants- only 5 ingredients

Recently I have undergone a life transformation to eliminate chemicals from my life and to get a bit healthier. Sometimes, people have a serious misconception about getting "organic" - they think it means spending more money! Actually friends, I have found that I save money by using some simple tricks and ingenuity.

While shopping the other day, I browsed the organic skincare aisle-looking for something to tighten and tone my skin. Holey Moley were the prices HIGH! Buying fancy remedies and products is not in my budget so I did what I know to do best....I sat down with my laptop and found some amazing DIY organic recipes that cost mere pennies to make.

I found out that coffee has actually been used in many cultures as a natural remedy for cellulite and many stars swear by it. The natural caffeine contained in the coffee has an amazing affect on those bumps and lumps by causing the blood vessels to dilate which increases speed and volume of blood flow. This combined with some salt helps to remove extra water from our tissue causing firmer skin!

You can buy these online but they tend to be a bit pricey so I wanted to share a DIY recipe that is so inexpensive to make. The bonus tip is that you can actually use your used coffee grounds from this morning's cup of coffee!

Ingredients:

1 cup ground organic cofee

1/2 cup organic sugar

1/2 cup salt

1/2 cup coconut oil (or any oil. I like the benefits of coconut)

1 tsp. organic vanilla

(of course, I choose the organic varieties BUT you will get the same effects with the normal varieties)

Directions:

Mix it all together!

To Use:

  • I definitely recommend using this in the tub!
  • Gently Spread on trouble areas and massage into skin with a circular motion
  • Rinse!

The caffeine will go to work stimulating blood flow and the coconut oil will moisturize and leave your skin feeling soft and healthy!

I have heard of a lot of people using this on their faces but
that is a bit harsh for my delicate skin (probably the only delicate thing about me)! Use your judgement on if your face can take the grounds!

No matter where you use it, you will feel awakened, moisturized, and will smell amazing!

Doesn't look too pretty BUT it smells amazing!
