The sun can damage your skin! Always use sunscreen!

Taking care of your skin is so very important…especially the skin on your face. After all, your face is what most people first notice when they meet you (get your mind out of the gutter please!). Before I continue, I want to stress that sunscreen is your BEST FRIEND! I cannot stress enough the importance of protecting your skin from that evil ball of fire in the sky. If you do not already do so, make it a daily habit to apply sunscreen (especially to your face) before leaving your home.

RoC Skin Care From France

Now, back to taking care of your skin. Each skin type requires a different skin care regimen. For example, if you have oily skin, then obviously, you would use different skin care products than someone with dry skin. RoC Skin Care offers patented, anti-aging skin care products that claim to make you look ten years younger. Actually, let me to take that back…they PROMISE to make your skin look ten years younger! Not bad! RoC was founded in France in 1957 by a pharmacist named Jean-Charles Lissarrague. However, he didn't develop the RoC Skin Care Line alone; he had help from several dermatologists. Since its debut, RoC has become the skin care leader in France. In 1999 Roc crossed the pond and introduced their products to the United States. They continue to do research hoping to make their line of anti-aging products even better!

In 2008, Allure Magazine awarded RoC with the "Best of Beauty" Editor's Choice Award for best anti-aging night cream. RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream is the only moisturizer clinically proven to give ten years back to the look of your skin. That, my friends, is impressive! This cream, which you use while you are sleeping, contains pure RoC Retinal plus essential vitamins and minerals. It diminishes laugh lines, moisturizes the skin and visibly reduces even the deepest of wrinkles. RoC Skin Care products are sold in drugstores as well as on-line. To find the best prices, I suggest starting with a simple internet search as there are many discount drugstores on the World Wide Web!

Just say "NO" to tanning beds! Very, very bad for the skin!

Want Healthy Skin - Start Early!

As I mentioned in my Obagi Skin Care HUB, there are many reasons as to why the look of our skin diminishes over time including, stress and anxiety, the simple aging process, cigarette smoking and diet…just to name a few. If you want to have healthy skin through-out your life, it is important to begin proper skin care at an early age (so if you are a teenager, stop going to those horrible tanning salons! They are hands down the worst possible thing for your skin!). If you are no longer a teenager, don't worry, it is never too late to begin a healthy skin care program. It is important to note that you should always use skin cleansers, toners and moisturizers that come from the same skin care line. More often than not, they are all designed to work together, so if you mix and match from different lines, you might not get the results that you expect.

Over all, the only way to find skin care products that work for you is through trial and error. I know what you are thinking…"What a waste of money!", however, once you find the creams and moisturizers that best fit your needs, you will be one happy camper as you will actually be able to see results! If you are unsure of what the best skin care line is for you, don't hesitate to consult with a professional. Your dermatologist can do a complete assessment of your skin and will be able to tell you exactly what products you should be using.

No matter whether you choose RoC, Obagi or some unknown skin care line…as long as the products work, feel good on your skin, and you are happy with the results, that is all that should matter! Once you do your homework and talk to a professional…you will be well on your way to radiant, gorgeous skin! Good luck and may you find a skin care line that makes you feel…BEAUTIFUL! Here's to healthy skin!

My doctor in Brazil swears by this product. He recommends it to his patients and his family use it. I'm buying it--Walmart seems to have the best prices.
