is there a store around ardmore tn that can do this for me?
i have a gold prom dress that will be purfect for my wedding dress but i want it white
I'm not terribly far away from you. However, regardless of where you are, I believe you are looking for a good seamstress that can use your prom dress as a pattern to make you a white wedding dress. I do not believe you can dye/or bleach a gold dress to make it white (if that is what you are asking). To use enough bleach to accomplish that would weaken the fabric and the last thing you want is to walk down the aisle and have the dress come apart!
Your post doesn't have enough information. I'm not sure if you're referring to Ardmore, Pennsylvania, but that would be something you would have to google yourself to find out as I'm not familiar with stores everywhere around the nation that can do that sort of thing.
Try googling a dry cleaner in your area that specializes in wedding dresses.
But to answer your question about converting a prom dress into a wedding dress, a FULL conversion couldn't be done without compromising fabric integrity. Consider using material from your prom dress to create a sash, veil or even a garter. Beyond that, changing a dress' color would weaken the fabric too much.
