The price of gold is relative to the value of the dollar and political uncertainty in the world. With the U.S. economy still in a painfully slow recovery (or maybe about to fall back into a recession due to the state and muni debt bubble) and Iran and North Korea still rattling their sabers, I believe gold still has some upward movement. Long-term it is difficult to invest in a commodity that is at all-time highs.
