Is excess bleeding and a sharp stabbing pain to be expected after having your nostril pierced?
I've had my nostril pierced 3 times, in roughly the same spot. The first and second time I had it done, it closed when I tried to change the stud. So today, I got it pierced for the third time. The last 2 times, the only pain I felt was during the actual piercing. Afterward, it was fine. This time, there is a constant ache and a sharp stabbing pain every few seconds. Also, this time I bled for longer than the last 2 times. I also noticed that this time it seemed to hurt more. Is the excess bleeding and sharp stabbing pain normal? Thanks!!!
If you've been getting your nose repierced in exactly the same spot, you're probably building up scar tissue which can be problematic compared to unscarred cartilage.
