What are some good resources for those who want to go vegan for health reasons?
I am looking to go from vegetarian to vegan, however I am already struggling with gluten issues and I am finding it rather overwhelming to take that leap. What are some great resources out there for support? Preferably non-judgmental "high horse" type stuff I read in a lot of vegan places. I don't want the dogma just practical advice and tips on how to get all the nutrition I need on a vegan and gluten free diet.
You can always talk to a Registered Dietician, or if you prefer, a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. They often work at health food stores. If you like to do your own research (as I do) you can always check your library for books on that issue as well.
