I dyed my hair black a while ago and now I want platinum blonde, is it safe for me to bleach it?
I was thinking of just bleaching it all, of course at a hair salon. My hair is really thick and healthy so I dont think the bleach would affect it as much.
Yeah that's not gonna work and if you go to a salon where a hairdresser offers to straight up bleach dyed black hair then run far, far away.
You'll need to lighten it in stages before bleaching or chop a bunch off and let your natural hair grow back first.
I've seen a product at the store that will remove all the artificial color from your hair. I've heard it leaves it an orange color so you have to add a dye afterwards. If any hairdressers know something about this product, please advise.

Do you dye your hair to hide the fact that you're going grey? Or don't you think it matters?
