What's your best advice for having glowing skin after 40?

To get the skin cells to turn over, I use alpha hydroxy cream, but it seems like it's hard to find in my area. I also use an exfoliating brush in the shower. Is there anything else that's given you glowing skin every time you use it?

    Hi, Shirley smile

I just happened upon your question. I am getting close to 41 years old, and I get comments on my age often. Usually, if I am buying alcohol, they look at my license and can't believe I'm as old as I am. I wrote an article on a skin care ointment cream that I make and have used for many years. I use it after I wash my face (every time). You might find it useful as well smile The bonus is that not only does it deeply moisurize your skin, it helps clear it from blemishes and trouble areas (course you have to exfoliate regularly for it to work it's best).

Anyhoo, it's super easy to make and extremely inexpensive (it's beeswax based, and I bought a pound of beeswax pellets from Amazon 3 years ago for $10.00, I'm still making the ointment with that bag! I have enough for at least 3 or 4 more batches!). The ointment cream lasts seemingly forever! smile

Also, us older ladies are not producing the collagen we use too, so taking collagen supplements daily is a MUST  smile  Walmart has Spring Valley collagen (in the supplement aisle) for around $7.98 per bottle (120 pills).
