Globe iPhone 4S Plans Philippines Postpaid and Prepaid Prices

See the deal of Globe iphone 4s plans and prices for postpaid and prepaid right here right now. Globe announced the availability of iphone 4S in the Philippines on December 16. Once you logged in at Apple’s iphone 4s official website and chose Globe as your phone carrier, it will lead you to a huge tab announcing the release of iphone 4s in the Philippine market. However no price or other info was there. Well at least while you read this now (Jan. 2, 2012) They were focusing on reservations obviously. No worries, I’m here to give you guys the deal from Globe itself.

Went to the Globe Wireless Center at SM in my dear hometown and asked for a brochure of their latest iphone 4s plans since info are not yet available in their newly reconstructed website. And here I summed up Globe mobile plans for the new phone dressed with the latest Dual-core A5 chip, iOS 5, iCloud and Siri, the lovely virtual assistant of iphone 4s. iPhone 5 in the mean time is still in the oven.

iPhone 4S Plans for Globe Postpaid

Take note that all Globe postpaid plans are in a 24 months lock-in period (2 Year-installment contract). The cool stuff is all plans include an unlimited internet data. Means you can use and surf the internet for free all you want. Globe iphone 4s postpaid plans include consumables and freebies on every plan. You can also choose to have add-ons that suit you. Usually freebies include unlimited call and text or SMS with specific values. You’ll know this once you will avail and apply for your mobile postpaid plan.

A bit of advice:

How amazing, iphone 4s 16gb and 32 gb are free for plan 3799. If I was choosing a postpaid plan, I’d definitely choose 32GB since it has more memory. I’m not a sucker for huge content anyway so the middle option is enough for my music, games, photos, and other stuff in my storage plus there’s iCloud anyway. That’s what it’s made for.

I heard that some credit card companies are offering 2-year-zero-interest installment schemes for iphone 4S and Globe has partnered with BPI with that by giving any client an option to grab the phone by credit card instead of cash out. This is cool if you don’t have money right away to pay the cash out from the postpaid plans. Apparently, your monthly charge will be like this if you use the credit card option by BPI:

• iphone 4S 16gb will be Php1,999/month for Plan 1799 Plus Php200/month for 24 months at 0% interest

Total Postpaid price from the plan was divided by 24 months. As you noticed, there will be an additional 200 for the monthly charge.

But then again, the price will be different if the method was based from the selling price at shops or resellers nationwide. It will be lower since Globe service is out of the equation.

That offer looks pretty cool but that’s just so tempting. If you are wiser, why not buy the iphone 4S at some resellers like iStudio or Mac Center. They also offer credit card installment schemes. Choose the one which offer zero-interest installment and just use Globe Prepaid service for your call and text services. Internet is already around you anyway especially if you have already broadband or wifi at home. If you have internet at home, you might not have to load anymore like me. LOL Yup, with iMessage, you can message any friend who has an iphone, ipod, ipad anytime. With Skype, you can call your friend anytime. There’s wifi in the malls too or around Starbucks. Just saying..

iPhone 4S Plans for Globe Prepaid

For the Globe iphone 4S prepaid kit, unfortunately the official price is not yet finalized. I hope next week it will be given. But I’m sure it’s not so far away from the original price of iphone 4S in the Philippines which is P35,500 for the 16GB, P38,500 for the 32GB and P41,500 for the 64GB.
